Cars: 2015

As Wally said, the culprit may just be low fluid level in the reservoir. This can be easily checked by just opening the hood. The reservoir will have a line on it and if the fluid level is around that line, it may simply be the fluid sloshing around while the car is in motion. A bottle of Brake Fluid will be like $5 and will easily top off the reservoir if it's low.

Had my partner come over and take a look. It was the brake fluid.

Did they say if they were concerned with a possible leak? My wife had her brakes replaced, and asked about the brake fluid. They replied that it was a closed system, and there shouldn't be any fluid loss nor degradation. That surprised me, and I plan to look into it sometime here.

After having to add fluid 3 times in the past month, my partner and I are now looking for a slow leak.

I had a brake piston seal (something to do with the piston on the caliper) blow at 70 mph. I mention this because you should check the pistons too.

That's not a fun feeling when your brake pedal goes all the way to the floor with no resistance.

I will avoid buying an Interstate battery any time soon. When I bought my CRV in August 2023, it came with said battery. The battery had a manufacturing date of February 2023, and it completely died on Thursday. The battery had a 24 month warranty, and they nailed it.
