Just for that comment I'm calling the Buffalo parking attendants and telling them to raise the prices another $20 for the quarterfinal game ;)

Ha...Knowing Buffalo, they're probably one step ahead of you. I'm kind of surprised the City doesn't step in and monitor this a little closer. My only other suggestion is to park at Galleria or NF Military Road outlet mall and cab it in...inconvenient yes, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do...and I wouldn't pay these mafia thieves one red loonie!!

Went through Canada and landed just a bit south last year. As americans we loved watching our boys win the title all Canada feels is their birth right

Dogwatcher, thanks for the info. We have the sportspak and get a lot of college games. We'll have to look into the NHL channel. You wouldn't happen to know how much extra they charge to add that, would you?

nhl center ice is about 160 for the year you will get almost every nhl game plus the nhl network

Hard to forget...I was sitting 3 rows up from the Cheerio sign. :(

It was the strangest thing. You can hear the crowd noise in the backround, it was deafening....40 seconds later you could have heard a pin drop.

Not going to lie to you Prez. I'm worried about our goaltending...It's been shakeeee.

Should be another Classic tilt!

Watching the other semi right now. Sweden just scored but Russia still has the lead at 2-1. About 1:30 to go in the 2nd period. Refs blew a blatant icing call on Russia's second goal; it should be 1-1.

Disappointing effort tonight by the USA, but congrats to the Canadians on a well deserved victory. Best of luck against the Russians!

Canada's alltime record versus USA: 30-6-3

Post game comments:

The Canada-U.S. matchup was less of a contest than many had predicted, sending the Canadians to their 10th consecutive appearance in the finals at the WJC. The Americans - with eight returning players from 2010's championship team - were the favourite to win the tournament, but they didn't appear up to the challenge on this night.

"We were a little lackadaisical and a little big-headed," said American forward Emerson Etem.

U.S. captain John Ramage (son of Canadian NHLer Rob Ramage) seconded that notion.


Canadian gold medal #16 on its way!!!!
