Does anyone know why members of the Canadian women's team are headed to Calgary this next week? Is there another camp before 4 Nations?

Based on the roster and schedule, it looks like Cornell will be hosting Dartmouth and Harvard without Fortino, Rougeau, Jenner, and Johnston. That is unfortunate.

You know you are in Canada in the first week of October when:

- The Turkey is in the oven
- Jack frost has visited
- Three NHL games on the tube on thursday night, opening night in the NHL
- The leafs are falling (already)
- The college road trip season is upon us.

There is no doubt Don Cherry is a clown, and he has the wardrobe to prove it. But he most certainly wouldn't be the first clown in public office by any means. Why should Massachusetts be an exception in that regard?

Yes...You are correct Genbeau but if memory serves me correctly the leafs hadn't fallen by this time last year either. I do however expect that the next 2 weeks will be particularily hard on them and they will come crashing down to earth...if not by October 20th....... most certainly by October 24th.

Just a question, I was looking at the University of Calgary Dinos info, seeing how Iya Gavrilova did tonight for them.. and saw that Hayley Wickenheiser got a game misconduct, and then later a gross misconduct late in their game tonight.. just curious what might have led to that, having not actually seen a gross misconduct listed on a score sheet. Sounds like that Canada West league is as 'tough' as the USHL here from the amount of penalties

I was wondering about that as well,, i see she had a minor at 6:05 of the 3rd then 8 or9 seconds later she gets a ten minute misconduct. Then the Gross misconduct at end of game after she scored OT winner...
I can maybe guess at that one...perhaps a little too much celebration? any dino fans out here?

Canada is Hockey......and the Leafs are still going strong despite having to use the Monster in net....

I am still trying to figure out just what it takes to be called a monster.....it must be he frightens his coach when he is in net.

OnMAA are you a Habs fan? If so that explains everything....hahah
