Some More Great Stories About the "People" Who Support Drumpf

There is also a few in that article that are people attacking Drumpf supporters which is ridiculous too. Donald Drumpf has done more to divide this country and promote racial unrest in less than a week than the Right pretended Obama was able to do in 8 years. And still nothing from the "Compassionate Conservatives" in the GOP or the Sexual Predator himself. Oh wait Paul Ryan Had This To Say.

Paul Lyin...errr...Ryan said:
House Speaker Paul Ryan says the people generating racist graffiti in the wake of Donald Drumpf's election are "not Republicans" and "we don't want them in our party."

The Wisconsin congressman told CNN's "State of the Union" Sunday that, "People should really just put their minds at ease. We are pluralistic, we are inclusive... that's the kind of country we are still going to have."

This guy is so full of crap it is astounding. They arent Republican? You dont want them in your party? You and your cronies are the ones that have been courting them for months. Pluralistic my *** you guys are so divisive and noninclusive even Joe McCarthy is in awe of you while he burns in hell.

Re: Campaign XXVI: The Drumpf World Order

Yeah, but Handy. They won. And part of them winning is they get to define reality. Why? Cause that's what they ran on. Americans voted for anti-reality. Kellyanne Conway said as much on Meet the Press.

Welcome to the new reality.

Re: Campaign XXVI: The Drumpf World Order

Three things struck me this weekend. The first was Kate McKinnon's opeing performance on SNL. The second was the lost Supreme Court for the rest of my natural life. The third was how science is dead in all our government policy decisions.

I think at this point it makes me sad more than anything else. Very sad.

I share that sadness, though I am by nature optimistic. One particular factor that upsets me is that I thought this election would signify a change--that the old white male 1950s majority was no longer in charge due to changing demographics and sensibilities. That change will not be prevented by this election, but it will be slowed, possibly significantly. Trump's many passive supporters who continue to try to explain that the voters needed change and that Clinton was simply not a viable option for change fail to acknowledge that Trump represents the opposite of change. His style was different, but the America he promises to serve smells like fermaldahyde. The situation is not troublesome to me because we are headed for change. It is troublesome because we appear to be headed backward at least two generations.

That is still technically change ;) (just not the change anyone with an IQ over 12 wants :( )

I give it a week before the GOP blames the hatred and racism on Obama...

One thing we have learned the last thirty years: as long as they live in their Echo Chamber they will never have an inkling anything is their fault and they will always be caressed that it's pick one or more of: blacks, liberals, feminazis, Blame America Firsters, Meskins, gays, etc.

Just watch this forum for their deflections when the bad stuff starts. Heck, Hate Radio already has them believing that all the racism at rallies was Bernie Bros in disguise.

Part of having no critical thinking skills is the lack of any notion as to why they are important in the first place.

I am also getting a creeping sense of why GOPers have tried so hard to prevent the Obama administration from succeeding, even if it meant harming our country. They were afraid that his success would validate his fitness to be president and the wisdom of his policies. I have to say I feel some of that now. I tell myself I would never support a democratic senator or house rep who acted in a way that intentionally harmed the country for political reasons and that there is a difference between Obama's message of hope and Trump's message of exclusion, anger, and fear, but I may be simply giving in to my own confirmation bias.

Re: Campaign XXVI: The Drumpf World Order

People have to come to grips with the fact that Trump was elected for one reason and one reason only, and that is that we are truly a nation of far too many deplorable individuals. At the end of the day that's a fact. All of the demographics that were continually cited here and elsewhere when it seemed unthinkable by most that Trump had no chance in Hell of pulling out this election missed that simple, overarching point. How many people who voted in this election were NOT aware of even just one or two of the statements Trump made that the pundits were "sure would be the end of his candidacy?" They voted for him anyway. And if they did not, but instead still voted for Republican Senate, House or Governors candidates, they are equally to blame, because only a fool would believe that even a minority of the current crop of Republican politicians will put country before party or politics. Get used to it folks. We live in a very, very sick country. The ride from here on out is going to get bumpy. Think about how outraged you were when you first heard about the Pulse nightclub shooting, or Oklahoma city. Now imagine what this place will look like when those are weekly, or daily events. Think it can't happen? Well, I was told repeatedly that since old white men make up a minority of the electorate, there was no way possible for Trump to be elected president. Keep that in mind when you go to the market on Saturday morning for your weekly grocery shopping. Keep in mind there is far more hatred in this country than even I thought on November 7th. And now that hatred has a voice at the head of the table.

Re: Trump's meeting with Obama. It's a Tumblr blog, so pure speculation here, but it seems plausible...

http://valadilenne.tumblr.com/post/153048664118/ive-been-thinking-a-lot-about-the-meeting-between

I can see it. Trump's whole posture exuded fear and submission, like he was realizing how far in over his head he was. I'm still convinced he ran as a lark, and never expected to get this far, and Obama was probably there just rattling off everyday mundane stuff that he needs to know in order to just begin doing the job, and he was having an "Oh chit" moment.

You can see it even in the joke meme picture I posted somewhere else, look at the look on Obama's face, like "yeah buddy, this is the job, whaddaya think?" and Trump can't even look him in the eye he's so unprepared.

Re: Campaign XXVI: The Drumpf World Order

Saw this on Facebook from some righty post from a friend:

Trump is going to be the most pro-gay president in history -- and he won't get a single ounce of credit for it.

I don't... I can't... *sigh*

In 2000, as Bill Clinton was leaving office, he admonished Bill for not doing enough in favor of gay rights equality. Surprisingly enough, true story.

His VP is Mike Pence, probably the worst person when it comes to LGBTQ rights.

I looked at the comments and they were all basically "ISIS is the biggest threat to the gay community and he's gonna keep them out!" or "so he doesn't want them to have marriage, that doesn't matter, marriage is just a piece of paper!"

So basically, they'll lose basic human rights, be barred from businesses, and likely see an increase in violence but hey, ISIS won't attack them!

Cognitive dissonance is real.
