Campaign 2016 - People lie the most after a hunt, during a war or before an election

Re: Campaign 2016 - People lie the most after a hunt, during a war or before an elect

So a woman is raped, you think the people under the camp of "Always wrong except..." would force the woman to carry the child to term? It's the most common exception I hear from that crowd as a matter of true sympathy for the woman's plight. And since the vast majority of incest is of a rapey nature, it falls under that same exception in the "always wrong except" crowd.

Walker/Wisconsin was just working on 20 week legislation and Walker pulled the "exceptions" from the bill.

No, I think it's not a logically defensible position. If you're pro-life then it doesn't matter how the fetus was conceived, unless you have some religious belief that the spawn of rape and incest don't have souls, and I don't think anybody's that weird.

Re: Campaign 2016 - People lie the most after a hunt, during a war or before an elect

Yeah, I read that and I just don't believe it. Nobody believes that you have the right to abort at 8 months. If Hillary said that she misspoke, but I think it's FAR more likely that some wingnut is just flat out lying.

She was asked if she supported federal restrictions on abortions at any stage of pregnancy. She gave a longish answer in which she seemed to be suggesting that late term abortions are only happening in cases of medical necessity anyway, so federal restrictions wouldn't be necessary. How her answer jives with the facts, I'm not sure.

Certainly the ones who testified recently before Congress on the subject would seem to have souls and appreciate that they, unlike many in their position, did not get aborted.

You are saying Hillary is flat out lying? Egads!

The tokens brought in at the sham hearing about planned parenthood where they couldn't be bothered to even invite someone from planned parenthood? Where they repeatedly brought up the lies created by those heavily edited videos?

Re: Campaign 2016 - People lie the most after a hunt, during a war or before an elect

From what I've read it's one unsubstantiated, untraceable rumor refracted through a million different media sites, like the way the Echo Chamber creates stories out of literally nothing.

Maybe there's something real back at the beginning of the domino trail, or maybe it's just somebody bored/malicious seeing how much buzz she can create.

The reason Walker pulled out seems pretty obvious.

The Rubio rumor seems equally unbelievable -- something that big (barrios of bastard bebes) would have surfaced long ago in a prior campaign. Opp Research wouldn't even have to break a sweat. And the Bush family would never, ever plant something like that...

Walker is flat broke from paying 27% interest on a bunch of credit card debt, and all his big money donors abandoned him. He just didn't have the cash to fund any delusions of grandeur once it became obvious he stood no chance.

Question is not directed at you St Clown, but rather at anyone who has the position of "It should be legal only in the cases of rape and incest".... what documentation is required of the woman seeking an abortion? Checks off a box on a form that the pregnancy was a result from one of the two and she is good to go? Is there a requirement that a police report was filed? A conviction of the rapist? Something else?

My far too early stab at a map:

Like I said in the Final Four poll thread, the Republicans pretty much have to start by flipping Florida and Ohio. If they can pull that off, even if they lose Virginia, the math is still feasible (though a longer shot) if they flip Colorado and two out of three of NV/IA/NH.

OH had just a 2 pt. margin and FL a 1 pt. margin. And no need to flip two of IA, NH and/or NV each of which had 6 pts. Just flip VA which had a 3 pt gap. Pretty doable.

Right, their first priority is to also flip VA. What I was saying was, they could still win if they don't, it's just exponentially harder. And without FL and OH, the Dems make it three in a row.

Re: Campaign 2016 - People lie the most after a hunt, during a war or before an elect

I am watching Carly try and defend herself on Faux News...to say her logic is flawed on the fake video she apparently saw (that no one else saw and even Fox doesnt seem to think is real) is a gross understatement. So we should believe you because the fact checkers havent seen the video so they cant be trusted. Then if they challenge her on defunding Planned Parenthood they have to prove they watched it or she wont listen to them? I feel like we are starting to see whyHP crapped the bed when she took over :D

Watch Her Twist Herself into a Pretzel

A report (hospital, police, etc) of the offense, IMO.

I just don't think abortion should be a substitute for birth control. If you have intercourse, prepare for ALL the responsibilities of the act. And of this, I can speak from experience. It's cost me, and not monetarily.

Edit: to answer the question before it's asked: I won't see my son for about 4-5 years, minimum, due to a mutual decision for his best mental health. Toughest thing I ever had to deal with.

Which requires that an investigation actually be done or that a woman be believed that it happened, both of which rarely happen. There's a huge backlog of untested rape kits that are just sitting around. In the thousands dating back to the 80s for this one instance Pregnancy shouldn't be considered a punishment for sex. Contraception isn't always available and education is purposely poor to teens/young adults leading to more unwanted pregnancies. (Thanks to conservative sex ed requirements)
