Campaign 2016 - People lie the most after a hunt, during a war or before an election

Ha! You still believe that's the real Trump up there.

Then you haven't read how I've said on here that Trump's a trojan horse. Not surprising; a vacation will typically cause one to forget.

"Because god" doesn't work well as a scientific research conclusion? :D

If there's no reasonable scientific explanation, and "I don't know" is not considered an acceptable answer, sometimes you have to turn to a faith system.

Well we see the stuff you have faith in...too bad it isnt in your medication! How did you escape the Wal-Mart death camps anyways? ;)

How Colbert shamefully caved to Trump - CNN
https://apple.news/A7Alc6C3VQ4-TFCtSRgL2YA

Sadly, this is the kind of garbage I've come to expect from CNN.
I'm not sure I follow. Do you think CNN's article misrepresented the interview?

I watched it, although I don't watch a lot of late night tv. I thought it was one of the most boring 15 minutes of my life. Maybe I went into it with expectations out of line, but I thought the whole interview was basically pointless, did nothing to poke a few holes in the Donald Trump windbag, and even made Colbert looked bored.

Sad day in Chez Clinton -- Bill tried to cheer up Hillary this morning by reminding her that Nelson Mandela wasn't elected president until after he had served 27 years in prison.

The media has to make a headline out of everything. And nothing.

While the idiocy we have witnessed arising out of polarized politics that has become so dumbed down that it should be portrayed in crayon art, the media has disappointed as much as anybody. Political races are reported as sporting events where polling results are the scorecards, not as debates about policy. No question that is because politics is seldom about policy, but the media takes a large share of the blame on that. We do too, of course, since the media is just satisfying our appetites. Which begs the question: Where do you guys go for your policy discussion? Other than here, where the best and brightest hang out.

But you're still claiming that's the actual Donald Trump up there, and not a bio-duplicate. You're one of the sheeple.

Obviously, you can't rush these things. After all it might be one of those almost insignificant occurrences of someone lying.

That's why I included a hospital report. Usually you can tell if someone was forced to have sex, due to damage to the area (tearing of tissue, etc etc). As for proving who the rapist was, that doesn't matter for the woman to be eligible for an abortion. If she was raped, she is eligible.

"every time they kill a mid-level accountant obama is on the stage telling us all about it and the others run and hide"

:D

unpredictable :p

That was good for a laugh. Stop projecting, Eric.

It reads more like a Boston Herald story.

The concern trolling for the Dems is going to be funny this cycle. We're not the ones who need rescuing. :)

Re: Campaign 2016 - People lie the most after a hunt, during a war or before an elect

Interesting article about how the far right has now diverged so far from reality that they may be alienating everybody else without even knowing it. The premise is that Bizarro World fictions like "Obama is a Muslim" or "global warming is a hoax" that Republican leaders invented to electrify the crazy fringe of conservatives are now such unquestioned dogma on the far right that the indoctrinated don't even realize that they're seen as fringe in the wider electorate, so when they voice what they think are obvious "truths," they just wind up pushing everybody not in the Krazy Klub away.

This isn't far-fetched. I remember cringing in the 80's when liberals routinely used terminology and ideas like "patriarchy," "reparations," and "hegemony," as today they might use "micro-agressions," in their normal political discourse with the gen pop. The result was that people who weren't fluent in Academese walked away shaking their heads, and the speakers had no idea they'd just defeated their own purpose.

tl; dr: This is what happens when radicals capture a national party.

Whether it is or isn't is irrelevant. The past speaks for itself, and there is no bearing upon the beliefs of the present. Good try at a troll, though.

Huckabee said:
"I'm disappointed if someone says, 'I'm a Christian,' but you invite the pope into your home and then you invite a whole bunch of people who are at odds with the Catholic Church policy. I think there's something very unseemly about that," he added.

Matthew 9:10-12
Jesus said:
And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples. And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners? But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
