They did, but they put him in the Veep slot. :(

I'm so farking sick of everyone worshipping the backup quarterbacks in this election, whether it's Bernie, Biden, Cruz, or Weld (or the mysteriously unnamed yet desired "someone else"). They had their shots and lost.

I said this about BHO 8 yrs ago and it applies to tD today

“After a time, you may find that having is not so pleasing a thing after all as wanting. It is not logical, but is often true.”

53% of White Women Voted For Trump

How is that even possible? I dont even have an anecdote for that it is just nuts. It is one thing to vote against the woman, that happens. But to choose a guy who, in the best light de-humanizes women and in the worst light assaults/rapes them over a woman? Screw off!

They think she's corrupt!! And a liar!! And emails!!! Seriously, I had dinner with a few of my friends that were more against her than they were for Trump. When all they did was say how corrupt and how often she lied, they made it sound like Trump never did those things! That's what I don't get. He constantly lied and was proven by fact checkers to have done so. People I know that were for him were flummoxed by people who supported her - I saw "they know she's corrupt and lies and don't care!" Right. Like Trump is this virtuous candidate. It boggles my mind. Just once I would live to have seen one of them say "Jeez - enough already! It's getting harder and harder to support you!!" There was absolutely nothing in their being against her that showed they cared or supported one thing that Trump was saying he was going to do.

Yes, well, they voted against Hillary then.

They also voted against Women's access to Health Care.
They voted against raising the minimum wage.
They voted against clean water.
They voted against ANYTHING happening to curb global warming.
They voted against Dodd-Frank.
They voted against people having medical insurance.
They voted against paying the bills.
They voted against the 99% and voted for the 1%

And I could go on and on. But, congrats to them. That ***** Hillary isn't President.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XXV: Fin

The Party doesnt just select people at whim (no matter the conspiracy theory) she got more votes than Bernie and no one else wanted to run. Again the blame resides with the people. They made the choice...

Exactly, by "The Democratic Party", I mean all of the people who voted in the Democratic primaries, that did not take into consideration the electability of Hillary in the general election.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XXV: Fin

Shouldn't you be ****ed at the Libertarian Party for not coming up with a better candidate? I distinctly recall you singing the praises of Gary Johnson repeatedly.

Not at all... the majority of people, myself included, who considered Johnson (prior to him showing himself to be a ninny) was only AFTER we decided we didn't like the candidates from the major parties.

Yeah...I am not a Democrat so I take no responsibility for her nomination. (I caucus Independent)

How Do You Define Irony

The German Chancellor, who has been the driving force behind the EU’s acceptance of hundreds of thousands of refugees, said her relationship with Drumpf would only succeed if he upheld “the dignity of man, independent of origin”.

She said: “Germany and America are connected by values of democracy, freedom, and respect for the law and the dignity of man, independent of origin, skin colour, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or political views.

Germany is now lecturing America on how to treat its people...

People are mentally ill. My dad has been repeating that mantra for a few years now. FOr the first time, I will have to admit that he's been right all along.

My dad just celebrated the Trump victory as a middle finger to Washington -_-

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XXV: Fin

Sure. It was the Bern-outs! It was Johnson! It was Stein!

Hillary was stiff and unlikable - it's also arguably why Kerry and Romney lost. Americans are dumb and vote with their precious fee-fees, and they need their candidates to be likable.

Just because the latter is true doesnt make the former any less relevant. I dont blame the loss on Johnson and Stein but they were part of the problem. They were the missed calls in the 3rd period of a tie game. They arent the reason for the loss but **** they didnt help either!

Hillary lost cause her coalition cracked. They cracked cause of her...

In your state can you then choose which caucus to go to each year? And if so, do you mind if I ask which you chose?

As Massachusetts as an "un-enrolled" voter I can chose to vote in either the democratic or republican primary on any given year.

Exactly. I read there were something like 7,000,000 democratic ballots cast this year as compared to 2012? Blame them, and blame Hillary for not inspiring them to get to the polls.

Are we sure Bernie lost? Are we sure someone didn't deflate his balls?
