:confused: Where did 60% of the voters vote for Sanders and Trump? You seem to want the result without doing the work. If you want 50's era tax rates that's fine. Now start a movement and go out and convince the majority of the public to clamor for this using grass roots activism ala the Sanders campaign. Otherwise if Hillary and a Dem Congress drop a 70% tax rate on all income about a few hundred grand, they're going to get creamed next election and you will get a Paul Ryan type in the WH who will not only repeal that but go further than the current tax structure. Sometimes, a little strategic thinking isn't such a bad thing Kep.

Rasmussen dropped a poll that has Trump up by 2 points and another firm, IBD/TIPP (A- in Nate's grades...) gave it as a tie. We can all laugh and point at the Rasmussen, but the IBD/TIPP is a second poll that indicates it's closing...?

Don't know how many will get this reference, but Hillary's the one studiously in the side room figuring out how to get a middle-out economic policy to work, while Trump and his friends are trying to figure out if it is possible to grope every woman in the room.

I know I get my election results from the Investors Business Daily ;)

They had Drumpf up 1 before the debate...my guess is they poll their readership.

I know, it's like the topics for the debate were announced well beforehand and she spent time studying them so she knew all of the details!

It's the first or second most watched morning news show in America...
...but I agree there's a need to sort through various sources to try to get some sort of real picture of what is actually going on. I see that as sadly problematic for the average American.

Why is this being covered up by the MSM?!!!!

Not only that, but what the heck are Obama and the FBI doing now??? Trump is a gd RED secret agent and we're giving him flippin' intelligence briefings?!!!!!? No wonder Putin is kickin' our asses all over the place!

Plus Hil says "Trust me, we're vetting these refugees to the gills!" But for cryin' out loud! We can't even vet the Ruski Republican Nominee for POTUS!!!

I don't want 50's era tax rates. The '70's will do just fine.

Add a .0001% or something tax on every share of stock traded, boost the inheritance tax rates for estates valued at more than $2 million, and remove the ceiling on income taxed for SS and I'm good.

All of this is a good start, but I would bump that inheritance cliff up. You would be amazed how easy it is to get to $2M estate. That's basically middle class on the coasts now.

That's kinda like saying it's the first or second largest selling brand of adult diapers. I'm not sure anybody who actually has a job:

1. Gets a daily paper
2. Watches morning news
3. Watches nightly news on a network

Those are all safely into the Golden Girls category. It's an immense audience because of the graying of America, true, but those aren't exactly political activist dynamos anymore.

The way to reach working people now is:

Late night comedy TiVo-ed for the next morning (white collar)
Hate radio (blue collar)

Everything else is Jurassic Park.
