I'm guessing she was cut a check up front, with the promise of a yuge bonus if he's elected. If she's smart, she got it all in writing, but when it comes to that glorified lot lizard...I'm not so sure.

Either way, the up front check is the only check she'll ever see without legal recourse. It's how Trump rolls.

Was there a debate? I didn't see it, but my only impression from the last hour of NBC this morning is that Trump held a press conference announcing he's forgoing the election and marching on Washington to take over. That seems like an error on Trump's part. He probably should have gone to the debate instead. :confused:

I don't understand why he keeps bringing up "Doug" MacArthur (like he was on a first name basis with the guy) and George Patton, two people who have been dead for 50 and 70 years respectively. If you even remember these people, or the wars that made them famous, you're in your late 70's. Trump has managed to make 68 year old Hillary seem like the candidate of the here and now while he's stuck in the 1st half of the 20th century. Isn't Schwartzkoff a Republican? Why not bring up him instead.

Hopefully, responsible conservatism will arise out of these ashes and contribute again. As or more important, hopefully this campaign will be another nail in the coffin of the 1950s social order.

I asked that the other day. Appears Trickle Down is a leg of the conservative stool. As long as that's the case it's hopeless to ever think we'll get anywhere. There was a time when real conservatives thought trickle down was voodoo but no more.

I'm simply saying I had Today on this morning for about an hour. To be fair I wasn't glued to it, but I never heard one single thing Clinton said. Or any other single thing Trump said in that time. Again I didn't see the debate, but is it the contention that that was the only thing said last night, or at least nothing else said merited mentioning in an hour of debate coverage? Anything else, if it exists, was ignored. That strikes me as odd, but perhaps it is indeed a terrific job of reporting.
