Not to defend Trump supporters, because I know you're just pulling a facetious number out of your arse. However, the definition of mental disability is typically an IQ below 70. if a person scores below 70 on a properly administered and scored I.Q. test, he or she is in something like the bottom 2 percent of the American population.
That said, if an IQ of 100 is average, then following the typical bell curve, that means about half the country is of below average intelligence. So there you go.

I don't have tv at home other than Netflix and Amazon prime, so I haven't seen any tv ads until today since I am staying in Farmington CT for work. I saw a couple different trump ads, including a Ben Carson one. Holy **** they were bad. Almost so bad I could believe it was a parody.

Holy ****, a libertarian/republican friend just told me he may leave his ballot blank for his presidential choice, but if he had to vote today it may be Hillary.
He used to be a Johnson supporter (pretty sure he voted for Johnson last time) and he HATES Hillary.

There's plenty of time, as long as Johnson stops speaking off the cuff. I bet he'll still "feel the Johnson" come Election Day. Once you virulently HATE Hillary, there's no going back. It's like a rapidly deepening hurricane, or a galloping cancer.
I was never a fan, even downright disliked her for most of her career, but I can't say I ever HATED her. In fact, given the alternatives, I've grudgingly come around to the ol' psycho-biddy. I'll be among the first in line for her at 7 AM on Nov. 8th, but I'll make sure to take a long shower afterward.

I considered that, too. It's a factor, but I don't think it's as big of a factor, particularly when it comes to the semi-auto rifles. I'd rather have a handgun in bad neighborhoods.
Do you know whereabouts downtown? While I did run into bums down there, I can't say any of them ever pointed a weapon at me.

I know we heard tasers. Heard a couple pops of unconfirmed sources after that. So I can't say for sure. Either way, it's getting shady, but that is sad, considering how busy that area is on a weekend night.

From the article cited, "Police say the victims are not cooperating with the investigation. Police said they have recovered two handguns and say they believe the shootings are gang related...Harteau also said the shootings started with a fight that was live streamed on social media."
That area has always had some issues late nights around bar close time. I've more than a few stories dating back 15 years about some crazy **** I've seen in that area between Washington and 7th st along 1st and Hennepin Aves. Most of it stemming from stupid things my friends were doing, or witnessing some stupid things other people were doing. Even so it's not like shootings there are even a monthly occurrence. Basic rules of "don't be an idiot" and you are incredibly unlikely to ever get caught up in something.
And it's not like a bunch of random people were shot, sounds like the people targeted were involved in something that made them so.
I don't know. Not trying to down play it too much, but...it's the center of a major city's downtown. This really isn't anything new. Which isn't to say it should be ignored or accepted, just that I don't understand the idea that "it's getting shady" or that you now need to avoid reputable establishments in the area.
