Re: Campaign 2016 Part XX: Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right.

America deserves Donald Trump is the only logical conclusion one can draw.

No, that's only your conclusion because it's That Thing You Do! For the rest of us, one third of the country being fools does not mean the other two-thirds should be consigned to the flames.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XX: Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right.

I genuinely feel sorrow for moderate conservatives, the type that never bought into birtherism and all that ugliness that Trump appeals to.

I don't feel so bad for them. They allowed this cancer to grow on their party because the inflammation goosed their electoral clout. Now the cancer has made the whole party sick. I feel bad that they're sick, but karma, chickens roosting, etc.

42% is a good 9% over 1/3.

Who would have been a better candidate than Hillary?

Senator Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND).

Yeah, she breaks my "prefer former Governor" standard.
And yeah, I'm not really a Heidi fan, but I know she's not been completely bought and paid for (unlike the two current options).

42% is a good 9% over 1/3.

42% includes Republicans who aren't fooled but are voting for the letter after the name. They don't get any awards for bravery, but they haven't been taken in either.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XX: Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right.

Slut-shaming. And slut-shaming is wrong ...

Outwardly, she remained stoic and defiant, defending her husband while a progression of women and well-funded conservative operatives accused Mr. Clinton of behavior unbecoming the leader of the free world.

But privately, she embraced the Clinton campaign’s aggressive strategy of counterattack: Women who claimed to have had sexual encounters with Mr. Clinton would become targets of digging and discrediting — tactics that women’s rights advocates frequently denounce.

The campaign hired a private investigator with a bare-knuckles reputation who embarked on a mission, as he put it in a memo, to impugn Ms. Flowers’s “character and veracity until she is destroyed beyond all recognition.”

In a pattern that would later be repeated with other women, the investigator’s staff scoured Arkansas and beyond, collecting disparaging accounts from ex-boyfriends, employers and others who claimed to know Ms. Flowers, accounts that the campaign then disseminated to the news media.

By the time Mr. Clinton finally admitted to “sexual relations” with Ms. Flowers, years later, Clinton aides had used stories collected by the private investigator to brand her as a “bimbo” and a “pathological liar.”

Mrs. Clinton’s level of involvement in that effort, as described in interviews, internal campaign records and archives, is still the subject of debate. By some accounts, she gave the green light and was a motivating force; by others, her support was no more than tacit assent.

What is clear is that Mrs. Clinton was in a difficult spot. She was aware that her husband had cheated earlier in their marriage, but by her telling, she also believed him when he denied the accusations levied by Ms. Flowers and others.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XX: Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right.

Kelly Ayotte thinks Trump is a role model for children. That's all anyone needs to know about today's Republican party. Yet, the polls even after the debate still have Trump with a path to victory.

America deserves Donald Trump is the only logical conclusion one can draw.

Dude there is always a "path to victory" you cant honestly be falling for that stupid media BS. Romney had one too how did that work out for him and his party?

Drumpf's only path to victory is for liberals to stay home. The middle has abandoned him in every swing state but Ohio.

And sadly Rover is right...because of the way the media has played this Hillary was the only one who could have won. They would have ignored the great things Biden has done and focus on his gaffs, and no one else could handle Drumpf and his BS as well as Hillary has.

Biden was the best choice though from a candidate standpoint. Hillary was the best "Anti-Drumpfer".

Slut-shaming is wrong.

Now, would you like to play who's more wrong, the adulterer or his spouse?

Yeah, I didn't think so.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XX: Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right.

Hardly bumped the polls. He's immune.

Hardly bumped the polls? That debate flipped 3 states that were (in your words) locks for Drumpf back over to Hillary. Just because Hannity says something doesnt make it true.

Hillary's numbers are back to her Convention bump...Drumpf is stagnant at 42%. Right now on 538 Nowcast has at 79% to win and polls only has her at 72%. Both have her over 300 EVs. (up significantly from before the debate)

Sorry facts dont back you up.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XX: Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right.

I'm wondering if Dakota Access Pipeline will affect this election.
It's two of Mr. Obama's (and assumably Mrs. Clinton's) constituencies battling right now:

First, the environmental and Native constituency got him to stop the pipeline (after it was permitted and under construction).

Now, five labor unions (including the Teamsters) have asked him to allow work to restart because it's costing jobs.

Yeah, I didn't think so.

Both can be wrong, the adulterer and the slut-shamer.

Two wrongs don't make a right, but they may make a President.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XX: Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right.

Yeah Hillary isnt excused from being ripped for it either. There is a difference though between her ripping the women who banged her husband and Donald doing it and to deny that is being obtuse.

Hitler vs. Jesus would split an American election with each side getting 40% and the remaining 20% actually deciding the outcome. You know this. Why do you **** your pants like this every other day?

No it wont...there is zero chance the Unions flip to Donald over this. (unless they had previous to this)
