I really think the debates are where we are going to see this thing open up.
Not a lot of people really pay attention to the conventions, but they do hear and see most of the debates.
More importantly, it offers the chance for nice, tight media packages of face-to-face exchanges.
Every time Trump spurts out his verbal diarrhea consisting of nothing but smelly floaters with zero substance, Clinton is going to nail him on it...
...I think this fecal analogy works pretty well, so I'll continue with it.
Say what you want about Hillary, she does pump out some solid logs. You might not like the way they smell, but you can't help but appreciate how solid, substantive and well formed they are.
I have to believe that a lot of people who right now are throwing their arms in the air saying "they both suck" are going to realize very quickly in the debates that, while they may not like either candidate, one of these things is NOT like the other.
