What, exactly, did Hillary to wrong? Especially in the context of everybody else.

Her body produces estrogen.

If Uncle Joe was the candidate, I may have been tempted to pull D. No way, though, can I vote for Hillary.

Joe Biden over HRC? Why? Because their policy positions differ or because she is a "liar" and he is Uncle Joe?

I recall attending a convention many years ago for editors and board members of law journals around the country. A collection of students who generally held pretty high opinions of themselves, mostly unwarranted that I could see. Biden gave the keynote speech. Many students were eager to challenge him on his prior admission that he had plagiarized someone else's work in a law review article he wrote in law school. To law review editors, plagiarism is the ultimate sin (second only to improper use of the Harvard Blue Book), and some intended to confront him on it while he was at the podium.

They tried. For Joe, with his charm and 1000 watt smile, it was a cakewalk. I don't think anyone even remembered what he said--just that whatever he had done must have been OK. They didn't stand a chance; he was too smooth.

I wonder how Hannity felt when the DNC ran Ronald Reagan's convention all week. The only thing missing was the trickle down economic message. Stephen Hayes (same as Hannity just different DNA) on twitter spent all night *****ing about Hillary's speech. Reagan gave the same speech 36 years ago and he gushed.

Hannity doesn't care; he's an entertainer. But there were definitely a lot of people currently and formerly involved in the GOP that were ****ed that Dems were able to run as the party of family values and what it means to be an American--Reagan's speechwriter said take out five paragraphs and Obama's speech on Wednesday would have been a Reagan speech--because the Republicans punted on that.

The debate moment of the last election cycle was when Romney tried to tell the audience that Barack didn't say Benghazi was a terrorist attack. Barack said he did. Moderator backed up Barack.

Election was over at that point.

Trump is going to get caught in some lie, he's going to roll his eyes and get ****ed off at the moderator, and Hillary is going to drive a truck through it. Then Fox is going to spend the next 48 hours explaining to everyone how Trump won the debate.

It wont even need to be that much...they have one thing to hammer Hillary about (outside of Benghazi) and that is the emails. As soon as Drumpf brings it up though she has 2 ways to go...either the Russia angle (you are a traitor) or the hypocrisy angle. (you havent released your tax returns) Both will drive him nuts and kill the talking point.

He has nothing else...if he talks about our allies she will use her relationships as SecState to prove he knows dick. If he talks about business she will use the Bloomberg endorsement against him.

To what extent will Trump's lack of support from the GOP establishment affect his access to experts who can prepare him for debates? If any.

Not much...there is always someone looking for a payday and to get his foot in the door on a campaign. Drumpf's problem will be he cant stand being poked at...he is the cliche bully who hates being challenged. He is all bluster and no bite. As long as Hillary doesnt take the bate he will just get angry. She should play to her strengths and just tell the facts and when he goes for the home run style bumper sticker saying point out his hypocrisy and laugh. She will walk away with it...

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XV: Before & After: Dancing in the Streets of Philadelphia!

Hilarious. A lot of people wondered why the Dems bothered giving Michael Bloomberg a prime speaking spot, given that he speaks to a fairly narrow demographic that isn't going to bring them much. Turns out it was basically just to troll Trump and it worked like a charm. Trump claimed he wanted to punch him and now is all mad online about it with another unhinged Twitter rant.

Like Hillary said, you're voting to give that guy nuclear codes.

Probably the most memorable quote of her speech (Trump's twitter rampages). Although it was a great hit, you kind of thought...oh boy, after hearing that will he continue to be baited on twitter? The answer appears to be...yes, most definitely.

He'll have access to as many experts as he wants. The problem is that he'll want zero. The policy side of things means absolutely zero to him. He just doesn't care. He doesn't want to be President, he just wants to win the election. Somebody insulted him and now he wants to win just to prove he's not the sad, little man he knows he is deep down inside.

I understand that, but the guy has a huge ego, and I can't see him not preparing. He's accustomed to using experts in his business matters, so he understands their importance, even though he is an attention-seeking child.

Why can't you be both?

Interesting take on the Bloomberg invited to speak angle, but I think trolling Trump all serves the same purpose. Yes to get him upset but more than that. The theme of the Dem campaign in terms of the opposition is surprisingly simple for once. Trump is a dangerous lunatic. Once that sets in people's minds, its kinda hard to ever go back on. Trump may have succeeded in labeling Hillary corrupt (the entire point of his convention) but if forced to choose between low level corruption and insanity gimme corruption 6 days a week and twice on Sunday!

For any lefties not liking Hillary that's okay but you should take heart in her campaign team. They're been top notch thus far. Hillary isn't trying to be something she's not - a game changing inspirational orator like some of the Presidents that have come before her. That's a lesson she hadn't learned in 2008.

So hate can come from policy positions? If anything we can read over the last 2 centuries- mostly, Presidential policy isn't going to ruin this country- it never has for now, and isn't likely going to.

Even IF tD get's elected, he's going to run head strong right into the House and Senate, and 2 of the three branches are going to fight pretty tooth and nail. However he tries to stack the SCOTUS in his favor, the Senate can deny that.

Seems like the biggest problem with Hillary is that she was an un-elected person trying to influence policy. AKA- she was a lobbyist, as First Lady. Big deal. Everything went downhill, nationally, from there. Or was it that people were offended that she kept the name Rodham after she got married to Bill so that she can still keep her law practice the same? Oh, such an evil woman for doing that.

I don't see policy as a reason to hate someone with the venom people have with her.

If it's policy you hate, at least spell it out.

For me, I looked into the 3rd party, and don't see enough plus/minus change to justify voting for them. I see no plus for tD, and a lot of minuses.

Many probably saw the interview via John Oliver, but for those that haven't, Newt's take on this issue is worth a watch.

Makes sense, alfa, but I can't accept it because your tag line shows you are a LIAR!! No way FS23 would say such a thing while sober and any proof to the contrary is a fabrication.

It was a statement to Scooby rather than against HRC. For the past 8 years, opposition to policies or how BO acted was, in several instances, met with cries of racism. Since Scooby stated that the opposition to HRC was estrogen based and she is Caucasian, I expect that once she's POTUS, sooner or later a similar disagreement with her (such as her taxation plans, TPP) will be labeled misogyny rather than racist. The over/under for said labeling is 3/17/17.

Like you, I agree that the nation will perceiver regardless of who wins. And...like Rover, I'll take corruption over stupidity any day of the week. I just don't have to like it and, since I'm in a state that will go HRC, don't have to choose the lesser of the two as I have had to in the past.

Its more I have faith in my fellow man to completely reject Trump. Substitute Hillary for Uncle Joe Biden and I'd be saying the same thing. Generic Dem beats Generic Gooper in a Presidential election because there's More Of Us. Generic Dem beats nutjob Republican by even more.

I was complimenting you on your loyalty.
