He also reminded everyone (and the ghost writer for Trump mentioned that Trump is the same way) that nobody reads anymore. I can attest to that. I see it everyday in my job. The way the media plays everything they help Trump way more than Hillary. And the beauty of that is that Fox News and the GOP still get to go on TV every day and tell everyone the media is out to screw Republicans. And 90% of Americans buy that hook, line, and sinker.

However, after watching the train wreck that's been the GOP convention, I can't help but laugh at people, be it Michael Moore, Scooby, or anybody else, who still see Trump winning this thing. If he can't even run a party convention, how in holy hell do you see him running a national campaign?

He just got the nomination for one of the two major political parties and he hasn't "campaigned" an hour yet. What makes you think he has to campaign now?

I can't wait till Hillary cleans in clock in the debates and Trump is still declared the winner while at the same time getting to play the media is biased against me card.

Right and even with that, even during the convention when Drumpf should be polling huge he cant pass Hillary. People are stupid, but they see this for what it is...

The numbers bare it out...he needs to win Whites at a Reagan like level AND have minorities vote like it is a midterm to win. It isnt going to happen. You and Moore and Maher just feed the media narrative on this even depsite the evidence.

Why would he campaign against 16 clowns? They couldnt even really debate each other. This is a completely different animal!

I'd love to believe that. But I don't. I've got to much life experience to the contrary to believe that we've crossed the chasm.

Because Biff Tannen just won the nomination of an entire party of Biff Tannens.

There are no Biff Tannens outside that party, so how the hell is he going to get any more votes?

Trump's cross-tabs are going to be incredibly extreme. We're talking about a guy who is currently polling at zero among blacks in OH and PA. Zero. The polling sample did not contain a single vote for him.

You're right about the debates, though. They aren't going to change any minds and the Echo Chamber has already written the description of how he beat Hillary. :rolleyes:

We havent crossed a chasm...they just backed away far enough that two steps forward wont make them fall off the cliff. Jesus Ted Cruz is the voice of reason that is how far away from the chasm they are.

Ummm....because he's losing? Trump using polling averages is down in every swing state. That's going to be one hell of a comeback even if he goes all in on campaigning which he doesn't seem inclined to do (raising enough dough, staffing operatives in key states, voter turnout, etc).

you know how easy it is to vote!!! you just walk in and tell the old lady you live on XXX street. they open a book and you look down and read upsidedown (Reggie Johnson Jr) and tell her "there i am, Reggie Johnson". they give you a ballot and off you go. no ID require. don't have to prove you are reggie johnson jr.

and by chance if reggie DOES show up later then they give him a provis. ballot and he votes too.

of course your pollster only got reggie in the go around, so whitey reggie is a hidden tD vote.

(god, mookie hates it when you try to play stupid to prove your stupid points :D )

I think he is fractionally ahead in OH. In the other 8 purple states he's behind everything from a smidge (NC) to a significant gap (NV, which really should be struck off the purple roll and replaced by, I dunno, AZ maybe?)

Because you have people like the guys on my hockey team who will vote for trump because they identify with the business man, hate hillary because she's a woman, think trump is a cool guy, and so forth.

Picture the average American, and realize roughly 50% of the population is dumber than that. There are a ton of people who couldn't reason their way out of a paper bag, but they still vote. Emotions are running high, and people get even dumber when that part of their brain is controlling.

Hillary is the betting favorite, but Trump is only about a 2:1 underdog. There have been far bigger upsets than that.
