To Perot's credit - I'll concede that I was 5 years old at the time, so I have no serious recollection of his campaign - he did attempt to expose trickle-down Reaganomics for the smokescreen that it is. Sure, he was draconian on drugs, but most people over the age of 50 are.
 
After watching the lead in to NBC news tonight, please God may Bernie win the remaining primaries.

He failed. Kansas and Wisconsin voted Governors in on that platform. Trump is running on it now. It's still a HUGE part of the Republican platform.

Perot was basically the right wing equivalent of Bernie Sanders, right down to calling African-American voters "you people".

Doesn't apply to me, and even if it was a national holiday plenty of people that wanted to could still work and plenty would still have to. There hasn't been a logical argument against it being a holiday stated yet except a hidden agenda. Selfish and dishonest people suck.
