And her replacement has already been caught having deleted previous tweets critical of Donald Trump.

What you mean "caught?" It's practically in her job title as a role and responsibility.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XII: What Have We Done To Deserve This?

Her delivery, as usual, is simply awful. So stiff. So rehearsed.

But unfortunately she has to be our next POTUS, because the alternative is World War III.

Do you honestly believe that?
Do you really, seriously, honestly believe Donald J. Trump will be the root cause and instigate the next world war?

I can believe a lot of negative things about Trump, but that is not one of them.

Depends on your definition of World War III. I could argue that GW Bush already started it.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XII: What Have We Done To Deserve This?

People recognize that hilly has nothing to add. Getting banged once by a former president isn't really job training.

I guess those years as a lawyer, senator, and Secretary of State don't mean anything?

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XII: What Have We Done To Deserve This?

Trump could easily make horrific decisions that plunged us into an extended global conflict. On the scale of WWII (or WWI)? Not necessarily, but he's a toxic combination of arrogance and cluelessness that makes Flaggy look like Aristotle. GWB was an atrocious foreign policy President. Its easily probable that Trump would be even worse. The US can't afford that, now or ever.

I dunno. Wants to let Japan and others have nukes, while pulling our troops out of there and S.Korea, letting China have free reign over the entire China Sea/Western Pacific region.

disbarred?
what DID she do as a Senator?
As to foreign policy, let's hear what our 37th president would have said: http://foreignpolicy.com/2016/06/03/there-is-an-international-disease-which-is-hillary-clinton/

Think you're mixing up your Clinton's. Her record as Senator is easy enough for you to look up yourself. And you have no idea what our 37th president would have said. Note: That website is a work of fiction. Made up. Not real.

I think he could do some extremely bad things.

1. Bombast. Trump seems to honestly think he can swing the military around like a dong "as a negotiation." Let's see him try that with China over their artificial islands, or Turkey over Erdogan's slow motion coup d'etat, or even the Saudis over human rights. I don't see Trump destroying an alliance or pushing us into a war with a stated adversary like Russia or Iran, but I can easily imagine him screwing up diplomacy with those "middle neutrals" that we're frenemies with but who we need, and making the US a much less respected, and thus less influential, global actor.

2. Isolationism. To the extent that American involvement is good for peace (and there hasn't been a world war since the US took de facto control of the world 71 years ago, so there really has been a "Pax Americana"), Trump's promised retrenchment behind an actual wall is bad news for world peace. I want to end the empire and bring the boys home, and stop using the DOD and the CIA as options of first resort, but I don't want us to curl up in an American ball and hug our nutsack.

3. Aggression. As a bully Trump seeks weak victims. As a bully president he might very well seek weak nations. This doesn't even have to be invasion -- it could be trade wars or cutting off ties or using economic weapons. There are always lots of little nations in the world who aren't causing trouble in and of themselves but have the gall not to believe the American World Order is the best way to run things. When those nations are sitting on resources we want, bad things happen. A US under Trump could be a nightmare for Central America or even the Gulf States.

All of these things together would make the world more dangerous. A dangerous world with so many powerful weapons, and in which everybody's economy except the DPRK hermit kingdom is inextricably linked, is an opportunity decidedly to be missed.

On every one of those things, Hillary would be by far preferable to any Republican, but in particular preferable to a guy who is, after all, a narcissistic dope.

There is one job title that I'd treasure today that I would not accept under a Hillary Clinton regime: US Ambassador.

As far a the "narcissist" charge, show me anyone running for office that high that inherently isn't a narcissist. Some just hide it better.

I've said before I prefer Presidents who've had prior chief executive experience, namely former governors. You have track record of how they respond under pressure.

I don't have one of those (former governor) in this crap-tacular trifecta.

But there is a former CEO ... no, wait ... Fiorina is out. ;)

I thought the US flexing its might is what destabilized the world? "Yankee go home!" ring any bells?

Christie, Rick Perry, Jeb, and Scott Walker all failed in spectacular fashion. Which one of those were you leaning?

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XII: What Have We Done To Deserve This?

Who else remembers 1992: Bush (incumbent), Clinton, Perot.

Looking at today's crap-tacular trifecta Ross Perot would be the no baggage, stable, middle of the road, moderate candidate.

I'll concede my statement is a bit hyperbolic, but I'll stand by it. The Donald has very thin skin and a very big mouth.

Career politician only means you should have no shot.

She does know how to overbill clients. But not sure how lawyering makes one qualified.

The fact that one wants the job should prolly rule them out.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XII: What Have We Done To Deserve This?

It's not the sell out that concerns me. It's his belief in the Institutions that failed to prevent what happened in 2000-2008 that's startling. Obama at least has tried to do everything he could to restore that faith but he's been cock blocked his entire Presidency by the GOP.

John doesnt care about any of that...he went full derp and he is never coming back.
