It may just mean that the dregs of the right gained notoriety before the dregs of the left. Hate Radio has made the dangerous ignoramuses of conservatism the primary voice of the right for the last 25 years. Social media is only now giving the featherbrains of the left a loud voice.

No, that's just disrespectful. Hence the point that liberals on this site are by and large more disrespectful than conservatives.

Take an example just hours old. On a thread on religion, some liberal posters have used a space that has been historically used by those of faith to discuss theology and various religious points of view, and are now using it to discuss how cathedrals look like naked women. Now faith is a very, very personal issue with most and sex is known to be a very touchy issue with those of most faiths. Now I don't care at all for myself. But on a site where there are so many visitors and those of faith make up somewhere near half, it goes against most religious doctrine to treat others with such intentional disrespect.

I can't imagine a thread on African American heritage having conservatives bring up slavery in such a fashion or some other comparable level of disrespect. As I've noted in the past, the only bigotry left on this site is to be found on the left.

Wow. Even working very hard to be empathetic I am completely lost how you managed to a)be offended to this degree and b) make the leap to this is the purveiw of only the 'liberals or that it makes all 'liberals' intentionally disrespectful.

Holy crap. The most sarcastic, vitriolic posters on this board that I have encountered were/are not raging liberals. :eek: I truly believe Ol' Pio would be deeply offended to hear it.

Perhaps it would be a good time to review the Book of Matthew where we are encouraged to consider our thoughts and behavior before passing judgement.
