Bernie will definitely endorse Clinton and very very few of his supporters would vote for Drumpf.

Re: Campaign 2016 - in bridge, the trump cards are really wild.

As in the majority? I disagree, Trump isn't winning majorities...If depth of the field is killing everyone but Trump...

He would be. Its dumb to assume that all Cruz votes would go to Rubio and vise versa. In reality most of Carson's 5 or 6% would go to Trump as he hates Cruz. Most of Cruz' people would go Trump as well or do no worse than 50/50 between him and Rubio. A divided field is all that's saving the GOP from a Trump early coronation, but that's going to come soon enough once delegates are allocated on a winner take all basis.

... I'm thinking a Lizzy Warren endorsement goes a long way here,.

so all the western and midwestern indian reservations will swing them to the D side?!?!?!?

Re: Campaign 2016 - in bridge, the trump cards are really wild.

Once the nomination process is behind us and Donald changes tact, there are quite a few that will support him that have not so far. I already see some of the GOP he were appalled by him...saying 'well, maybe he's not so bad...tough guy who says what's on his mind'.

He will surprise quite a few that are reading the polls thinking that he's going to get blown away by Hillary. Not what I want to happen, but what I think will happen.

Good info.

Meanwhile, Kasich says no thanks to VP slot:

Regarding Trump, I don't necessarily think he'll get blown out by Hillary but his ability to get 50% of the vote is really tough. He's going to get crushed with minority voters who make up 30% of the electorate. He'll be lucky to win 10% of them. He's also going to have the problem of party unity. Some elected officials are already saying they won't vote for him under any circumstances. If it doesn't look like he's winning that chorus is only going to get louder.

I freely admit he's a wildcard and who knows how he affects the electorate. However, his base seems to be the same older white crowd that has gotten the GOP outvoted in 5 of the last 6 elections. Not sure what states he succeeds in where Mittens couldn't.

I'm not so convinced on the minority vote. Trump is such an unprecedented candidate, I have no idea what to think with him and his supporters.

Re: Campaign 2016 - in bridge, the trump cards are really wild.

A lot of people are going to go for Trump who haven't supported him thus far. Although Obama did win in 2012 with just 39% of the white vote.

This makes no sense. He's labeled all Hispanics rapists and drug mules. Blacks always go 90/10 or more Dem. How do you see him appealing to either of these groups?

I mean, monkey's might fly out of your butt too, but lets talk what will most likely happen.

The Republican base is off the rails. This is what they want.

The base is not off the rails. The mob is running this election. Think old SF movies where the angry citizens armed with pitchforks and torches stormed the Baron's castle.

I think you're going a little far lumping all hispanics together, he clearly doesn't think everyone from Spain is a rapist ;)

He said that the illegal immigrants Mexico was sending us were rapists and drug mules rather than their upstanding citizens simply looking for a better life, he did not state that for all Hispanics living in this country.

Your party decided to hop on the racist nut job train to drum up rabid anti-Obama sentiment. They knowingly cultivated this mob and now they've lost control of it. This is now the base.

Yeah, because that makes it all better...

No, not at all. Still, we should get our quotes accurate if we're to have an intelligible discussion and not just sitting around, slinging **** at each other like a gaggle of apes.

Clown I find it hard to believe Hispanics are going to see the difference. Could Trump win the election? Sure. Is he going to do it by winning a larger than usual share of minority voters? No f'in way. To think otherwise is absurd. By your implication Trump has no problem with Honduran illegals, just Mexican ones?
