Campaign 2016 - in bridge, the trump cards are really wild.

Re: Campaign 2016 - in bridge, the trump cards are really wild.

Clown I find it hard to believe Hispanics are going to see the difference. Could Trump win the election? Sure. Is he going to do it by winning a larger than usual share of minority voters? No f'in way. To think otherwise is absurd. By your implication Trump has no problem with Honduran illegals, just Mexican ones?

Do you know many Hispanics? I only know a few and very rarely do they meet up with expectations. The Hispanic lady with whom I worked that came from Texas was a lot different than those whose families were recently arrived. I think they will see a difference, but it won't be some mythical monolithic bloc that politicians like to believe.

Yes my cleaning lady, my doorman and one of the guy's they send to drive me around. Although the cleaning lady is from Brazil so I'm not sure that counts.

If you think Trump is doing even as well as Mittens did with Hispanics, it confirms that you have a screw loose which to be fair we already suspected. :D

No, I don't think Drumpf will do better. I think he'll go down in flames. Even if he gets 45% of the popular vote, it'll be an EC bashing that he loses so badly that even Mondale would even him it was a really bad showing.

Your party decided to hop on the racist nut job train to drum up rabid anti-Obama sentiment. They knowingly cultivated this mob and now they've lost control of it. This is now the base.

Bingo...they wanted the money and the numbers and courted the devil to do so. Now they are so afraid of being primaried or losing funding they have to embrace the racist nutjobs.

Of course she doesn't count at hispanic...she is however latino...

No, not at all. Still, we should get our quotes accurate if we're to have an intelligible discussion and not just sitting around, slinging **** at each other like a gaggle of apes.

True, but what Rover was saying is how most of the unwashed masses took it. Soundbytes win and that will be in every add in states with high populations of Latinos. Add in his attacking the Pope and even the Catholic Latinos that go GOP won't support him.

Trump has to flip the swing states from the Dems. You dont win Florida by attacking immigrants even if what you are saying isnt as bad as it seems.

When Trump is nominated he will see how bad his comments are. Broke blue collar union guys arent going to vote for a guy who inherited all his money and has failed at every venture he has tried outside of reality TV. Faux wont back him, the Establishment has and will continue to disavow him and the middle wont get anywhere near him. He could win if he got every white person to vote for him (The Romney Plan) but even that wont happen. He can be "the best of lousiest" and take the GOP Nom but one on one he wont be able to hide from his comments. Hell my guess is Righty Super-PACs will buy ads against him detailing his friendship with the Clintons and his liberal plans and ideas. It is going to be all out war when he gets the spot on the ticket.

JFC... She really is awful.

Both parties are splitting in two: the faction serving the rich and everybody else. It's just happening a lot more slowly to the Democrats.

How do the Dems go from Howard Dean to this twatwaffle?

To be fair, the Republicans have been winking at racist nut jobs for a lot longer than Obama. Going on 40 years now with the Southern Strategy. There has not been a time in my politically aware lifetime where the GOP was anything but a white nationalist party. The only thing that's changed is whites used to be 75% of the electorate, and now we're 55%.

I think you're wrong on that if Drumpf is able to get through to blue collar union guys about his plans to create more tariffs and reduce free trade with the expectation that this will create better blue collar jobs in America. I completely disagree with the thought of closing our doors being a good thing, but those blue collar union guys probably would disagree with me...

I have Brazilian friends. They're all hard core Republicans in the mold of the Cubans. When they hear the GOP be racist against the browns they think, "well, I hate Mexicans too."

Drumpf is going to do great with Cubans, but he is going to get about 3% of Mexicans and Central Americans. If I were a GOP op I'd rather have cancer than Drumpf leading my ticket.

Those expressions on Christie's face last night. Oh my goodness. :D

Say goodbye to your political career, dude.

I think it was over the moment he did bridgegate. And I'll bet that was just the last in a long series of little b-tch fits. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Re: Campaign 2016 - in bridge, the trump cards are really wild.

Ok, based on CNN's exit polling data for Texas only:
Total Latinos voting: 723,268
D: 449,586 - 62%
R: 273,682 - 38%

Clinton: 319,206 - 71% D - 45% total
Sanders: 130,380 - 29% D - 18% total
Cruz: 101,262 - 37% R - 14% total
Trump: 71,157 - 26% R - 10% total
Rubio: 68,421 - 25% R - 10% total
Carson: 10,947 - 4% R - 2% total
Kasich: 5,474 - 2% R - 1% total

Texas 2012 exit polls aren't available for the presidential election, but 2008 shows:
Latinos were 20% of the total votes
63% went to Obama
35% went to McCain

I have no idea what this shows or why I looked this up. Someone else make sense of it. :D

This. The under-educated, blue collar workers I know are slavering over tD. When asked why- he is going to make America Great AGAIN!!!~!!!!

Of course these same people qualify for food stamps, Section 8, subsidized insurance. They are ignorant of tD's stance on anything. They just know he rants against all the other people who they consider lower than they are. This includes a Hispanic person.
