No one's dropping out, though. Frigging Carson is staying. Everyone hates Cruz and Rubio and Kasich are throwing Hail Mary's in two weeks.
I know, it really sucks that the top 2 right now are Cruz and Trump...how laughable is out political system that the top 2 candidates in our two biggest parties are Donald Drumpf, Ted Cruz, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders? No one in their right mind wants to run for president and I have no idea how to fix that.

Re: Campaign 2016 - in bridge, the trump cards are really wild.

Handy said Minnesota and the DFL were in the tank for Hillary. What gives???

The DFL is (hence Frankin stumping for her) once again though the DFL Party doesnt know their *** from their elbow and back the wrong horse ;) It is nothing new, these are the same nimrods who let Jesse become Governor because they let Skip Humphrey run...

I have had some fun conversations the last few weeks. My GF is very close to the head of the local teachers union and while the Union and Education Minnesota were in Hillary's pocket, it seemed the membership was split. I figured they would still deliver the votes but apparently they did not. Good for Bernie!

That said, Hillary is halfway home...unless some Supers switch sides Bernie is fighting for pride. Believe me though I hope I am wrong!

I hate this f@cking country so much tonight.

Handy, the supers will go as the people go. If we start to see more wins from Bernie, some will start to peel away. But it's all but won for Clinton now. Though, It would be foolhardy to come out against her for now. Bernie won't hold a grudge if you support her until the bitter end. The Clintons won't forget.

Are you facing a primary challenge in your state or district? F|ck off. You didn't support the machine. We aren't going to back you in your primary. Nor will we stump for you on the trail.

Article on Alaska GOP primary.

Notice the ages on everyone named: 81, 51, 55, 59, 56, 52, 63, 28, 26. Alaska probably skews a bit to the older side but JFC that's an old group.

I really don't understand what his happening this election cycle. Donald Trump says everything to everyone, contradicts himself at every turn and yet wins delegates. I got into an argument with a friend (from WI) who told me I better caucus for Trump today. My simple response, "no f-ing way...he's a snake oil salesman." Then he tells me that he's great because he doesn't care what the establishment thinks and that the only way to make america great again is tariffs and a trade war...I don't know what to say...I don't really like any of my choices on the right since there is no way Paul is/was getting anywhere. So sick of a political system that gives me a choice between this group and someone Drumpf is the favorite? wteff

I think you need to do some deep soul searching and figure out exactly what you want from you candidate and your country.

For me, it was the realization that the Republicans aren't fighting for me. They never have been. They have only supported the plutocrats since Reagan. They have totes along the other voting blocks on promises and IOUs.

Eventually I started to realize that the plutocrats were stacking the deck against the middle and lower class. Lower the tax rates on the rich (which very few of us will ever reach) while increasing extremely regressive taxes like sales taxes and trying to implement just as regressive flat taxes.

Then came religion. They have let religion come into politics as if it were some sort of Christian Sharia law. No abortions, no contraception, no gay marriage. People injecting their religious beliefs into other people's private business and civil rights. This was a deal breaker for me.

Eventually other pieces started to crumble. The antiscience rhetoric. The ignoring of the middle and lower classes. The ignorance of climate change. The stymying of progress on stem cell research. The obstruction of Supreme Court justices.

The republicans have shifted so far out of touch with reality that I am no longer within their bounds. Hillary aligns the best with what I believe despite what the iSideWith results say. That's not to say her and I are perfectly aligned. We aren't. But we certainly line up better than that co(ksuc€r Cruz or Donald Trump.

This is the Republican Party now. They have officially abandoned the centrists.

Let me take a moment to say that at least Minnesota was the first state to not vote for trump or eelpout (look it up) Ted.

The Clintons are a classic old style political machine. You can screw them, but it better make sense. You need to win your Berkeley House district? By all means, campaign loudly for Bernie. That just gives Hillary one more seat to play with.

The Clintons are different from the Bushes. For the former, it's not personal, Sonny, it's strictly business. For the latter it's all draped in that old school chum country club partners in privilege noblesse oblige shtick. That's why Jeb is so butt hurt over Marco. Whereas from a purely practical POV Marco had to turn on Jeb in public in order to drive to the net.

The Clintons do have one virtue: they never do anything unpredictable. You can just add up the inputs and as long as your weighted coefficients match theirs you know exactly what the outputs are. Now, if you're on the wrong side there's nothing you can do, they will grind you under heel. But usually you can figure out a way to be useful to them.

In all honesty, that's exactly how Obama operates too -- people just don't have as visceral reaction against him because he does it to cool jazz licks, whereas Bill did it to a banjo and Hillary does it to the theme march of Triumph of the Will.

Obama isnt in the same league as the Clintons. Can you imagine what they would have done is someone screamed "you lie" in the middle of one of their SOTUs? Can you imagine how much they would have shunned their VP if he went rogue and publicly came out for something they had been wishy washy about (like Biden did for gay rights) before you had a chance to "evolve" on the issue? The Potomac would be filled with bodies...

Speaking of evil people Why Is She The Head Of The Party? Thanks a lot Deb...anytime you want to retire and disappear will be a great day for liberals.
