I am still waiting for you to put your money where your mouth is. You chickened out on your Romney guarantee will you do the same with Walker :D

Are there sites where 2 people can register any future truth statement with one True and one False, they both PayPal (or whatever) the site which holds the money and then pays out the resolution and get a fraction as vig? If legal that seems like an amazing way to make money off angry political arguments!

Lol. No. Not betting. :D

Pretty interesting article about the numbers. The long and short:

- Dems should see a 1.5% tailwind compared with 2012
- That tailwind would not change any states
- The state that it seems to put in play is...North Carolina

The part about "good" news for Republicans seems a little sour. Rising Hispanic voters shouldn't change results in Georgia? Great, but if that qualifies as good news....

Having said that, the point is that existing Dem swing states (NV, CO, IA) should be a little easier to hang onto all things being equal. Obviously candidates matter but I'm not too worried at this point about the Smurfs running for the GOP nomination.

It comes down to whether there's a scary enough skeleton in the ossuary that is the Clinton closet. I predict the Republican candidate does not matter at all: this election is H or ¬H.

The ads on Infowars say it all: gold shares, hair regrowth and d1ck pills -- the Holy Trinity.

What happened to the iodine ads? Did a few people with a shellfish allergy die or something?

I think as the election goes along, its going to be really, really, really hard for leading Republicans, be it in Congress, the party's nominee or his campaign staff, to not make sexist/age jokes about Hillary Clinton. And, once doing so, refuse to back down, saying stuff like "old hag" is in fact a term of endearment. That's going to drive the similar aged old hags into her camp. :D

EDIT: Right on cue!

Funny, because I read "H" as meaning "acidic"

I like the joke, though. ;)

I agree with you, it will happen, and if women vote for H the way blacks voted for O it's over.

The Clinton campaign declined to comment for this report.

They've learned something in 8 years. "When your opponent is attempting suicide, do not interrupt him."

Then we'll get to hear arch-conservatives spend the next 4 years grousing about how Hillary only got elected because of one-issue female voters. It's a perfect feedback loop.

If they put a woman on their ticket (Haley? Even better, Martinez.) they might be able to avoid the worst of it.

Another token Palin would look wonderful.

Martinez at least would not be a token, and if Haley can take the momentum she gained this week and run with it she'll look more presidential than the guy at the top of the ticket.

In any case, we'll soon have another tokin' Palin.

They had a shot in 2012 with Herman Cain. Heck, didn't Allen West have his hat in the pool in one of those two campaigns?

Alan Keyes did. I don't know about Alan West.

But they all look the same to me.

Alans.

It was just their minstrel show to try to prove that they weren't all a bunch of racist hicks.
