Rev. Al is a different kind of hypocrite. He's in the "play the X card" where X is the victim-group of the day. Like GOPers constantly whining that any criticism of Bibi, even by Jews, is "anti-Semitism," or Christians whining about not being able drag gays from pick-ups because RELIGIOUS FREEDUMB!!11!!
Yup, you'd prefer dragging Christians behind your Prius, eh?

Slick Willy gets a bad rap because of Monica. The women he hooked up with before the presidency were in JFK's league.

Just more evidence to never elect Southerners to anything.
No way. Gennifer Flowers is no Marylin Monroe - no offense to my best friend's dad who grew up in Arkansas and took Gennifer to their prom. :)

I just saw a Prius driving down the road with black custom rims and a "bumper sticker" below the spoiler (or whatever the hell that thing is) that said "caution, 50 mpg at work".

The guy was literally huffing his own farts from a ziplock bag.

Al Franken?

He did get a lot of stuff done to him, according to NT accounts, but I don't recall dragging being on the list.

To be fair, it was nothing more than he did back in the day when he was just Saul from the block.

More sweethearts in KS.

The state supremes are going to rule this week. There's polling out that shows that even with Taylor on the ballot Orman is still probably going to win. What a weird, weird story.

The circus may take down the GOP Secretary of State as well; he seems like a complete snake.

Maybe KS will have slightly less wrong with it soon.

Note that an Orman win doesn't on the face of it help the Dems, since he's said he'll caucus with whoever has the majority -- basically, he's trading his alignment for a committee chair. Gotta admire his directness, I guess. But if the Dems do manage to hang on, he'll at least add another cloture vote since he won't have to bow to a GOP SML, and of course his term will last beyond 2016 when the Dems are expected to come back hard in the Senate.

Hey some folks learn from their mistakes and are humbled by them. We could use more of that all around.

Similarly, I was at SuperAmerica last week and the guy in front of me asked to put $40 of gas on the pump. I go outside and see him pumping into a giant truck with a "15 mpg and proud of it" sticker on the side. Enjoy your quarter tank of gas, buddy.

Wonder why we can't do that here?

What's more interesting is that they don't have mandatory voter registration like Australia. I wonder how many voters have registered within the past 1-2 years?
