No. Health Care For All would have solved that, but your party couldn't have that(*gasp* Socialism!!!!!!!), so after a year or so of grinding negotiations(eff you, Olympia Snowe, Maine's previous "sensible Republican Senator"), we finally ended up with the ACA.

Which the Repubs immediately started chipping away at(no mandates!!!) making it even less all encompassing and beneficial. And if not for John McCain, we wouldn't even have that.

So go eff yourself.

Prisoners are now yelling "Free Luigi".

I just want to go one record as saying this is not a good sign for stability. Not the prisoner thing specifically, but rather that we seem to be getting closer and closer to our own Years of Lead and that's a really bad thing.

I really hope the ruling class understands how close we are to a very ugly situation.

You can't have this time of income disparity along with people denied basic rights to live and expect otherwise. Every monarchy or Authoritarian Regime has found this out the hard way. Its why Right Wing overlords implement rather progressive ideals in other countries its to pacify the masses.

This is not good...this type of situation leads to very dangerous and violent revolution. Ask Louis and Marie...

Wasn't Dump supposed to repeal and replace the ACA with something way better during his first term? How'd that go? Or is that still in the "concepts of a plan" stage?

Remember when the ACA was going to have a public option? Until some lily-livered conservadems caved, and wouldn't you just know it, many were promptly thrown out of office in the 2010 midterms anyway after getting tagged with the "Obamacare" epithet.

But Hoover totally doesn't support Dump, in the same way fraudulent "journalist" Glenn Greenwald didn't support Jair Bolsonaro. :p

The biggest mistakes being made right now is how wildly out of touch the people in power, including CEOs, the media and politicians of both parties, are about this whole situation.

All it would take is a simple statement along the lines of “we understand that many of you are upset and we will be reviewing the use of technology to deny claims and care to our customers.” Instead, all we get is “how dare you poors support and glorify a murderer? Don’t you know your place?”
 
The fact that Luigi's "Prison Bank Account #" (used to buy stuff in jail like snacks, toiletries, etc.) is being posted and I assume that many are putting money into it says a hell of a lot. Dude truly is a modern Robin Hood of sorts.

If the charges stick, it is gonna be a hell of an interesting trial.

What's funny is Marie Antoinette was misquoted and demonized (my SO studied her I guess and says it a lot) meanwhile Bret Stephens is actually that big of a POS.

I read a Reuters article about the CEO of health care companies reactions...they still don't get it. And there is no way silver spoon pr!cks like Anderson Vanderbilt...Cooper get it either.

I mean, if his lawyers extradition fight is something to go by, you’re right.

I have serious doubts it gets to trial though. Between the discovery process and the bullhorn of a very public trial, I doubt TPTB will allow it. He’s likely to have an “accident” soon.
