Business, Economics, and Taxes: Eat Cereal for Dinner

According to news accounts, he’s been suffering from chronic back problems since childhood and had to have surgery.

But by all accounts, this guy's got the money to pay when the insurance company screws him over.

Imagine the poor saps who don't have that money, and the insurance company bankrupts, or even kills them, and how they feel.

There are very few people in this country who can absorb six figures of medical debt unscathed and I doubt this dude was one of them.

Evidently there are so many specific protocols that have to be followed when giving a tip that the employee (or patron? Keep seeing conflicting stories) may not even get it.

In the words of Homer Simpson: “the lesson is: never try.”

Judge cancels sale of InfoWars to The Onion. Doesn't demand re-auction, but states more money must be offered to cover creditors.

Why is that the potential buyer's responsibility? The only reason that it owes money is because Alex Jones lost a court case. That responsibility should be on him.

No, the judge said was mad at the executor, not the buyer. Of course the buyer will always push for the lowest price. The judge thinks that the executor didn’t try “hard enough” to drive the price up and thereby have a greater amount of cash for Infowars’s creditors ( I.e. the Sandy Hook families)

And since he's being forced to sell his baby to cover those debts, that makes sense. Otherwise, the families likely won't ever see even a reasonable fraction of the damages he owes.

It does make sense that there is oversight to something like this.

It would prevent someone for selling things for "$1" intentionally to screw over the party that is supposed to receive the benefits of that sale.

To be fair, the dot com bubble was bursting before 43 took office.

that said, his fucking admin created the global financial crisis so kind of meaningless in the end.

This is the only way.

We tried playing the political game and that failed. So now we attempt change through other means.

Interesting. I seem to recall that the Affordable Care Act was going to solve all these problems. No one would be denied insurance. Everyone would get it at a reasonable cost. Claims weren't going to be denied, and if they were, you had massive appeal rights. Was someone feeding me a massive load of bs on that?

Who gutted the ACA?

And it’s already starting to wake people up. It’s hilarious seeing the screenshots of videos of losers like Ben Shapiro trying to spin this whole thing as “leftists being godless murders” while the comments completely reject that premise and say things like “I just want health care for my family.”

The cat is out of the bag, the ruling class is desperately trying to get it back in before everyone wakes up.

LOL Dumpf: "We're subsidizing Canada, we need to stop."

Ontario Premier: "Get f*cked, we'll turn off the energy exports to the US."

About 60% of U.S. crude oil imports are from Canada, and 85% of U.S. electricity imports as well.
“We will go to the extent of cutting off their energy — going down to Michigan, going down to New York State and over to Wisconsin. I don’t want this to happen, but my number one job is to protect Ontarians and Canadians as a whole,” [Ontario Premier Doug] Ford said after the meeting.

Good work Rust Belt and the Midwest.
