Business, Economics, and Taxes: Eat Cereal for Dinner

Jup and Grey dont put up with much these days...my guess is Grey saw it and just said screw it.

gator definitely defends Trump...Rube (based on what I have seen of Facebook) is not really with him. Its fun to see Armadillo post anti-Trump stuff every day since he is a life long Republican.
Fair, I think rube is just reflexively anti dem and perm in the bsabsvr

Ah, I found the thread. What an idiot, getting threads locked.

Totally the kind of person who thinks everyone has to suffer as much as they do. Epitome of how stupid america is

Edit: I personally agree with him, for myself- I prefer to be around people in an office, but def hate forced RTOs and man, the traffic…Seattle/bellevue was absolute beast last week

When you investors project ROI do you use 10-5-3? 10 seems warped by recent bull markets to me. In practice, I essentially use 9-5-0.

(To all: x-y-z is a mean return of x% on stocks, y% on bonds, and z% on cash).

Studies show people are more productive working at home and more efficient...
Yeah but the person managing everyone can't handle keeping track of x amount of employees, so if they're all there it makes things simple for them. Oh and if they need to layoff people, do a WAH pass through and see if you can get rid of some that way.

My employer definitely did that. Started moving around number of days you need to be in, changing the distance that you’re exempt, reviewing reasons people were approved to be 100% remote by their leader, etc. Clearly moves to get the number people they need to pay down.

I can't WFH full time, so long as I actually have 40 hours of work to do. 2 days per week is enough. I'd rather be in the office the other 3 days to get shiat done and not be distracted by the wife (who works from home when not visiting clients in jail), kiddo (during breaks from school), cat, and to a lesser extent the various distractions of gaming, movies, chores, etc.

If I'm in a slow week and don't have the work to fill the time, then by all means let me work from home until it's busy again. I'd rather get home chores done than waste time reading this forum or fark or reddit while pretending to be busy.
