Saw a headline from a legit news outlet that said, to paraphrase ".....launches successfully"
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that if your rocket explodes, it wasn't a successful launch.

Well I believe Apollo 13 was called a "successful failure" maybe that is what they mean? I am sure this is what Elmo is telling them:

Sure but the very beginning when it got off the ground was extremely successful. Which reminds me of this great exchange from Fletch:

I guess technically, the launch WAS successful. It did get off the ground.

Yes. He craves attention so he acts like a clown so that his Twitter Blue Ballers tweet at him how great he is and how awesome his ideas are. He is doing a very hardcore version of fishing for complements. He is no better than my students who are failing their classes because they would rather be in the hallway doing Tik Tock dances for likes. He is an ego whore.
That is also why he has no idea what is actually going on. He lives in the tightest knit bubble of them all.
