Beckham and Adidas is about the only other one I can think of.
Joe DiMaggio and Mr. Coffee.

Is that why only my pillow advertises on Tucker? ;-)
Adidas is absolutely huge when it comes to shoes and apparel, though they’ve recently dropped behind Under Armor. But, with the World Cup next month, Adidas is likely to jump back up (especially if Argentina and Germany do well). How much money does Tucker make? ;^)
You can think otherwise but ADIDAS will likely not even notice. Hell they probably love the controversy cause seriously no one cares about ADIDAS when it comes to shoes and apparel.

Adidas is bigger in the US than you think (they have the uniforms for the NBA for example) though not as big as Nike.I meant to add "In the United States" because no one here cares about soccer...and well Europe is probably not thinking much about Kanye ;^)
Interesting the Nazis dropped him...

And yes, people in this country do care about soccer, it’s just the attention is split between so many leagues it fragments the ratings and money.
The NBA must be a recent switch because I'd only seen Adidas jerseys.Nike does the NBA. And the NFL and MLB. Adidas has the NHL through next season, but the NHL has already said they’re going to switch.
Our local fair had its best attendance since like 2017, had a great summer tourist season, so just anecdotally, I think people are spending the money on the things they want to spend it on(you know, the fun stuff), while whining and let's go brandon-ing about the everyday necessities they have to buy.
So, typical 'murican.
That's what I'm questioning: Is it just a bunch of pent-up spending this Spring/Summer by people who will be struggling in 2023 or are things just being super emphasized to make them seem worse than they are?
The question will come in real spending vs. nominal spending. I’ve not been tracking numbers, so I can’t speak to it. Simply put, if inflation is 10% this year, but people are spending 8% more than last year, then we see a nominal increase in spending of that 8% with negative real spending of 2%.
Sounds like we’re in for a tough winter https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/a...-200-a-barrel-leaving-biden-with-ugly-choices
