Correct, it has nothing to do with the universal 10k forgiveness.

Why would they send checks for the PSLF program? Not that I don't believe you, but my wife got hers knocked out by the PSLF around a year ago and she just got a letter saying they were gone. And I don't get why they'd send checks to you rather than the servicer (which should've been Fedloans, anyway).

I guess I'm just saying I'm confused.

The money sent to us is a refund for all the payments we made after the limit. The remainder of the debt ($70k) is just gone.

Why they would send checks rather than make a deposit to us is bureaucracy. The fact that it's 72 checks like some kind of Darwin Award bar of soap story is the insanity of it.

I will definitely be taking a photo of all the checks before we cash them, so we will have visual proof forever. But I assume we are not the only ones so honored and over the next week we'll be hearing tens if not hundreds of thousands of stories just like ours and probably worse (better).

Probably one for every loan account. Or origination. M

edit; how many "over" payments did you make?

What Reagan and his successors did to the American Dream. Oh, but our Billionaires!

Probably not, but I'm sure he thinks that since he's planning to bring Twitter back to the wild west days, he'll be able to trim a lot of fat. I'm also quite certain you'll see more ads on Twitter if he takes over, and they will likely accept ads from a lot of kooks. Basically, he's going to turn it into Facebook.

Can one of the Utes clue me in on the key demos for these platforms?

From the outside it feels like:

60s: Nothing and happy
50s: Facebook
40s: Twitter
30s: Snapchat
20s: TikTok
10s: By definition, nobody here knows.

I don't understand why they would think this is a net win. Does Kanye west really have the endorsement power he used to?

I think Nike-Tiger or Nike-Jordan are the only permanently fused entities.

Cause ultimately lost all the business they will. If they drop him they risk more. They sit tight and weather the storm and in a year no one cares.

Beckham and Adidas is about the only other one I can think of.
