Was the 5 minute major on Leen legitimate? The Maine announcer didn't think so. He's generally not a "homer", but it must have been at least a minor. You guys have some talent. Good luck the rest of the season.

I had left so I didn't see it live, but after the penalty, before it was announced, Bernie (BU Announcer) said something like "that could be 5, we'll see".... I took it to mean it was maybe legit, but borderline.

did the first line score every goal last game? 2/3 tonight?
sure eichel was a -2 after 2 periods, but as hoky referred to bc as a 'one line team' last season we are definitely that this year so far.

early though so we have a chance to develop a couple more to consistently pot some pucks (i hope).

I really enjoyed Michael Felger's speech. Too bad no one was listening and many didn't know who he is and his shtick. Loved it when he called BC a bunch of Sallies.

Onto the game... Great comeback by the boys. Nice to see the third line get the tying goal. Wasn't thrilled with the referees - thought there should have been more penalties on Maine but didn't have much of an issue on the ones called on BU. When I watch I have a feeling that this team is never out of a game no matter the score. As much as it pains me to say it, I guess this is what it has felt like for the BC fans the last 16 years... Was Greer projected as a borderline first round pick before the season? He is very strong on his skates but I don't see it. I think Somerby could be an all-american and a beast in his senior year.

The team seemed a half step behind most of the game and when they actually had flashes of good play, they had no puck luck. Shots sailing over the net, missing an open net or two. Or six. GAH!! And the lackadasical play in the first period continues. Maybe that's the plan! Hang back, let the other team tire themselves out, then use your superior conditioning to outplay the other team in the third! It's been working but me no likey.

Heading to Connecticut tomorrow. Not sure what to expect. Will they be tired? Connecticut is coming off a big win tonight.

Didn't see a reason to leave since BU spent much of the 2d period killing penalties. This team is not out of any games with the offense they have. A few miscues but overall extremely impressed with the defense. 4/6 new players. Mcleod is going to be a solid nhl d-man. Somerby is much- improved. The others don't seem out of place at all. This entire class is living up to its billing.

What a great game Hohmann had. Kid plays real hard.

As for atmosphere, what a difference a year makes.

Did anyone see that? What was that all about? All I could see was some fat kid with a Maine shirt on (I know, which one ?:) yelling at somebody.
