BU @ RPI, Saturday 12/11/10

Re: BU @ RPI, Saturday 12/11/10

Nice game by RPI and York, pretty chippy third period. A little more respect for the ECAC.

Allen was absolutely superb. I like how BU plays, they are chippy. That is a compliment.

I really liked the way the Engineers won this today...SA is a great leader of men...

Can't disagree-but have to mention Joel Malchuk-that absolutely ripped short handed goal got us on the board first after we killed off a 5 on 3. Scoring first was my kety to the game-building a lead was second-closing out and holding the lead third. York was just lights out great today.

Re: BU @ RPI, Saturday 12/11/10

Why do we have to get this type of press from an out of town reporter and not from You Know Who !

If you are referring to Ken Schott, he does have an article in The Gazette about the game although, of course, I can't quote it being The Gazette is a pay site.

Re: BU @ RPI, Saturday 12/11/10

Total class act by BU yesterday. When the first player from BU got shown the door at the end of the game I believe, he promptly smashed his stick on the bleachers and a piece of the stick went flying into the crowd. This went from chippy to dirty to straight up gooning it up in a matter of seconds towards the end of the third period. Im just glad the only thing that got hurt yesterday were egos and feelings and not any players from either team. Good win, but still a lot more work to be done by RPI.

Re: BU @ RPI, Saturday 12/11/10

Great shots, Dr. Jackson doing the YMCA during the 1st intermission is really what caused RPI to win yesterday :)

Re: BU @ RPI, Saturday 12/11/10

Great game against a good team.
We came out and got a lead, held off the onslaught in the second period and closed it out in the third.
Great special teams and goal tending.
Stood up to the frustrated BU team at the end and came away the victor.
The fans (national audience) saw a great game and should be ready for more from RPI.
