BU/Northeastern Fri/Sat End of Reg Season

Re: BU/Northeastern Fri/Sat End of Reg Season

Why in the world would he shake his hand? No way I would!

Decency? Sportsmanship? Putting things behind you?
It doesn't really matter at all but there was no reason to make it an issue.

Gutsy, gutsy showing by NEU... hard to express how easy it would have been for them to come at flat with nothing to play for. On the other hand BU went back and forth between being the great team they can be and the team they all to often are that lacks hustle and doesn't seem to care. Rollheiser certainly didn't create any discussion for the starting goalie spot moving forward, won't be seeing him for the playoffs unless something strange happens.

Officiating was awful tonight. Not complaining because it went both ways. Sometimes refs let players play too much, sometimes they get too involved in a game... tonight they managed to do both and at any given moment it was impossible to tell which one it was going to be.

Lowell has Jasmine.

Game over
Indeed.

Now NU stays a TUC team, so go them.
Whew!

I really hate that because the players really have no way to know how to adjust their play. Consistency is all I ask for; just rarely seem to get it.

Good luck to both teams in the next round; rooting for NU big-time because of the TUC situation.

So Vinny holds a grudge... :)

Lol. Someone from Rapist U whining about "decency" and "sportsmanship."

Why would Vinny have been able to get into BC? He didn't get in the first time he applied and given JackPa's attitude toward going to class, there was no way his grades would have been good enough to get in the second time around.

Then don't move over two sections from where your tickets are and expect to stand in front of 10 rows of season ticket holders and you won't get 'harrassed'.
didn't get harassed this year, however, i was extremely disappointed to hear that a nu student told arena staff that a bu student threatened to rape her and the bu student was merely given a verbal warning for it. not an exaggeration in the slightest.

Why would NU (not NEU) be a TUC given the fact that they didn't make the playoffs. Under consideration for what, exactly??

I thought that the TUC were simply the top 25 teams in the PWR or RPI. Not sure though.

I believe it used to be the Top 25 in the RPI, but it's changed.
For Division I men, each team with a Ratings Percentage Index (RPI) of .500 or above is called a “team under consideration,” or TUC. The PWR method compares every TUC with every other such team, with the winner of each “comparison” earning one PWR point. After all possible comparisons are made, the points are totaled up and rankings listed accordingly.
