Matthews great when it's full. Frankly i think the renovation was lacking. I'd like to see the front archway torn down and restored to what it once was... A beautiful marquee entrance. As for sight lines, it's 100 years old, the balcony isn't even original to the place... Get over it. Agganis is nice for sight lines/ concessions but I agree it lacks the college hockey atmosphere. That said, Good luck in the playoffs. $10 says we win tonight and there will be 2 full rows in the doghouse and 10 NU fans in the lower bowl. Also, pretty classy of BU students to threaten rape last night. Especially considering... well... everything. See you in a few hours.

I had a BU student, unsolicitedly, back in 2009 after the HEA Semis tell me that he could incite the people on the (very packed) train to beat the crap out me if he felt like it.

BU people in general are decent... but there's always a few pukes to go around.

Some bizarre reffing going on. BU brought the puck across the blue line, dumped it down, and an NU guy hit the BU guy juuuust after he dumped the puck: 2 minutes for interference. ??? Then, after killing that off, an NU guy tried to literally jump over two BU guys blocking his way; he falls to the ice, and BU gets 2 minutes for tripping. Cue the Twilight Zone music.

Still 4-4, 5 min to go.

Nice win to end the season. Sure Vinny is pretty happy. Too bad we were one point short, sigh.
