Looking forward, Corey Pronman has released his new NHL Draft Prospect Rankings . Tynan Lawrence (1), Caleb Malhotra (13), and Egor Shilov (26) all appear. Which- whatever. What I like is that Lawrence and Malhotra both rate "high-end" in the "Compete" category. Think this current BU generation could use more of that.
 
Saturday's environment is going to be OFF THE HOOK. Imagine the most hostile/loud/challenging environment possible. Does anyone think the BU team we've watched for the past 2.5 months has the intestinal fortitude to face that and put together a solid 60 minute effort? Me neither.

NU will get to close out their barn in style. Here's hoping BU can keep it within three goals. (I wouldn't bet on it.)

Has any team ever given up more goals at the end of periods? Boisvert likely thought the puck was going behind the net to run out the clock…instead it is a pass to nobody and it’s in the net.

Pity. A good effort overall wasted by lapses. We've seen this all year. Maddening. Let's see if they can salvage it in the third.
 
What kind of decision is that? Taking chances with a weak pass with 5 seconds left on the period? Stop it already! They had a lot of fight tonight and climbed back into it. They may have given it away with another bad decision that ends up in the back of the net. That’s about 3 or 4 of those at the end of periods. And the second one at NU!
