BU Hockey '24-'25: Reloaded for another Frozen Four run

Lost 8-2 to Michigan last year. Won night two. Let’s repeat that.

You called it! Much better effort. That’s a tough team to play against, especially there. Good confidence boost that they can perform in that place and situation. Caron was a huge factor (as well as Kaplan BTW - what?). Struggling with the puck a little behind the net in the D zone - need to clean that up. That’s a big early season win for the PWR later.

It was 2 years ago - a 9-2 loss at Michigan followed by a 3-2 win the next night. I guess it’s becoming an early season tradition!

He said last year. And last year they lost to Notre Dame by a huge margin and won the next night.

Those boys better have their skates and breezers on. Should be on the ice about now doing suicides

That was rough.

On a positive note, the mac and cheese with the Nashville hot chicken is a good addition to the concessions lineup!

I wasn’t able to be there or watch but just checked the box score. What happened in the 3rd?

Two bad power plays in a row and then they decided to give out odd man rushes like they were handing out Halloween candy. Then they decided to start taking dumb penalties. Lots of trick. Not much treat. As embarrassing a third I’ve seen in quite some time.

Is Svoboda injured- He was not in lineup friday and fourth line pretty invisible without him

- On the telecast, Bernie said Svoboda has an upper body injury.
- Kaplan was a hero a week ago, but he has to find a way to stay out of the box or he is going to cost this team.
- Really dumb penalty by Q. Hutson. I would really consider sitting him for tonight. He knows better. I didn't see the Eiserman penalty that started it all, but a slashing call behind the play is not smart. The kid is a sniper but he is not a puck possession guy like Macklin, so he needs to be sure he isn't doing anything that hurts the team and offsets his goals (kind of like last night).
- I feel bad for Caron. He played a great game and then the team in front of him just lost their focus and he ended up with 4 GAs.
- If we don't get a split tonight, this team will likely fall to the 10-15 range, which could be where they belong. North Dakota got spanked by Cornell last night.

Eiserman got dumped at the tip of the M crease. Could have been an interference call. Looked to the closest ref for a call and got no response. Got to his feet and stalked the Michigan player to center ice, where he slashed him in the back of the knee. The other ref caught this and made the call.
