They should give their bid to NU.Hopefully they are a little more ready for the next tournament, but from what was put out there today, it’s hard to think that can happen.

I don’t expect that all they have much stronger character and heart then BU and NU losing to Maine can’t be compared to the #6 team in the country losing in this mannerI'm here and expecting a similar result from my Huntington Hounds if it makes you feel any better. That said from my seats yeah they look like warm shit on cold ice.
Not gonna bet on that……Hopefully they are a little more ready for the next tournament, but from what was put out there today, it’s hard to think that can happen.
Is McCarthy hurt?I don’t expect that all they have much stronger character and heart then BU and NU losing to Maine can’t be compared to the #6 team in the country losing in this manner
UConn is good (better than BU) but they were missing their best player and they still dog-walked them on a big stage.
Was thinking the same thing. Is McCarthy hurt?
Swear every odd man goal from right in front had #2 cruising into view as the red light turned bright![]()
Boumedienne had a chance to clear a puck in front of his goalie and fanned on it which gift wrapped a goal for UConn to get them started. Had a bad penalty too. Thought he had a bad game compared to other games I watched him play.I'm angrier this morning after watching that instant classic between NU and Maine last night. THAT was playoff hockey! My God. How many shots did NU block? 40? 50? 128? They sold out for that win. On a ten point scale ranking effort, NU gets an 11 and Maine gets a 10. BU? A 1.5.
Why should we believe in this team next weekend? I'll watch. I'll hope. But they haven't exactly earned our trust have they?
I'll leave with this. There was a play in the first period that perfectly encapsulated their mental mindset yesterday. Gavin's got the puck all alone in his own end. The neutral zone is clogged so he doesn't have a forward to pass to. He doesn't want to skate it out of the zone (for reasons I can't explain. Fear of having the puck taken away if a Husky charges at him?) so he half heartedly tries to get it across to Cole Hutson, but whiffs on the puck, UConn pounces on it and they create a cycle and a scoring chance. I mean.... Move. Your. Feet! Attack! Work! Want!
