Looking forward to Tuesday's match with PC. They just knocked off #1 MC twice, what a weekend!
no doubt but we'll see.....................I love what they did out in South Bend. Maybe Irish will reconsider moving to HE now

Someone should tell the BU coach it's not smart to poke a bear. Why in the world would you say something like that in the press? How does it help your team? Seriously, the guy is like my four year old. It's never his fault, someone is always getting thrown under the bus, and he will never realize its best to shut up and move on. Glaring similarities. Nevermind that sending that message through the press is complete disrespect for Coach York. So childish and unprofessional.

Very nice work by young Mr. Billett who no doubt has earned more playing time. BC was ready and never lt BU get a sniff of being in the game beyond the first period.

Billet looked good tonight. I wish we would have challenged him more earlier, but that obviously didn't happen, much to my frustration. Kudos to the guy for getting his first HE start at Agganis and winning. Anybody think he'll challenge Milner for the #1 spot?

I would think so....., kid looked great out there and showed lots of poise for such a big game. Also doesn't hurt to have two goaltenders to rely on as opposed to one. I'm kind of rooting for Milner though, would suk for him to lose out to Billett after already being the backup to Muse the last two years. Kind of how I've been rooting for Rollie but looks like he'll graduate as the #2 to Millan.

Weird weekend of hockey. From watching, one might have guessed that Friday was the 6-1 BC win and Sat was the 5-3 game. But no doubt the goalies were the difference makers. Millan on Friday and Billett on Sat.
Can we all agree there is not much love between these two teams this year?
From watching the frist two games, I was thinking that this years BC team was starting to remind me a lot of the 07-08 BU team.... pretty darn good with plenty of talent, but no goalie equal to the task. (I have not watched BC other than these games). I'm not thinking that so much after tonight though. Is it safe to say that Billett has won the job? Or at least that you'll see a rotation going forward?
Question for people better with the rules than I am: On the BU non goal that was reviewed early in the second... there was no whistle so play was not stopped and BC scored. If the review had shown that to be a goal then what happens with the clock? Would it be re-set to the point of that BU goal and thus the BC goal taken back?

I believe the clock is reset to the point of the BU goal and no BC goal.

I'm almost certainly in the minority, but I actually hope so. The number of penalties called in these games is enough to drive me insane. Being able to just watch the game itself is a lot more enjoyable when these two teams aren't playing each other. I think a lot of people would agree with that...
Positives for BC:
-Much better first period
-Goaltending...didn't expect that from Billett
-Perfect PK
-Biggest win of the year in the most hostile environment
-They've gotten better in each game against BU (probably the single biggest thing to be encouraged by)

Do you think? Setting the final score / goalies performance aside, I'd actually say from watching the play / flow of the game that BC was better Friday night.
I dont disagree with you though as far as watching the games... the penalties, cheap shots, diving etc that was exibited by both teams this weekend made the games a little painful to watch.

If we can avoid games with Benedetto that would be nice. BC seems to get the shaft when he's reffing the game.
