One good period, 1 not so good. Unfortunately we didn’t score in our good period. Hopefully we can catch some momentum coming out in the 3rd.

It's a different game if some of those shots hitting the post went into the net. Still it was a close game despite the score at the end.

Was far from a clean game in terms of execution, but both teams played at an extremely high level. BC did so for a tad longer in the second when BU got gassed from killing some dumb penalties. That was probably Lane's worst game as a Terrier, not as much because of anything BC did. Even with that, they were right there in the end in a very, very tough road environment.

What a fun game to watch, both teams playing fast. I thought BC's transition game was the difference in the game, BU wasn't able to get a ton of established zone time. A couple of posts didn't go BU's way and BC fanned on a couple of close opportunities in front. Great game

I'm really interested to see how BU approaches having last change. Looked like BC was trying to get the Gauthier, Gasseau and Jellvik line out against Celebrini's line most of the night. I'm guessing BU will look to get Cellebrini, Tuch and Kaplan out against the Smith or Ambrosio line tonight

Brown commented after the game that Gauthier's assignment was to keep on Celebrini, he didn't take him out of the game but he minimized his chances. Both goalies were great, some great saves in both ends of the ice. Great game for each team and great for college hockey.

My annoyance may be misplaced, but this is second very tough road environment that resulted in a loss (Cornell at MSG is the other). And where I felt they didn’t take their game to that next level needed. And that worries me as we head closer to the Beanpot. Not sure what to expect tonight. If I’m not mistaken, and please correct me if I’m mistaken, but BC is one of a few schools with a winning record at Agganis.

Excellent point Scarlet my exact thoughts today but was hesitant to say. You can say their biggest high profile games all year at MSG and last night they didn’t look like a team that was at their best in the big moment. Tonite will go a long way on how I feel about this team’s longer term prospect because BC looked like the more composed and talented team last night

NESN just said “8:00 puck drop” for the Beanpot game. So I’m guessing TV said, “We decide which game we are putting on prime time.”

More like 8:00 broadcast time. Even if the first game ended in 2:10, they have a 45 minute break. And they’re showing the first game so 8:00 puck drop is crap.

This.

Year after year.

Don’t worry, BC is doing the, “anything you can do I can do better” thing right now. I’ve officially gotten to the stage of turning the game off my tv, put on Netflix and watching the game with no sound on my computer

I’ve heard from two different people that the NESN broadcast is crappy tonight. Wonder what the issue is.

I'm watching via ESPN+. The distance shots seem to struggle with the white balance in the camera at times making it look either washed out or dimmed. Something weird with the lighting perhaps
