Only because it’s a big move and uprooting the family / kids schools etc. etc.
Any insight/theories on why BU's schedule is always the last to drop? Seems odd that the season is 3 months away and we don't have a schedule yet.

The 10-game OOC schedule is almost complete. Quinnipiac will visit Agganis the evening before Thanksgiving, followed on Saturday by Red Hot Hockey at MSG. https://twitter.com/BUHockeyStats/status/1677019788218884118?s=20
More and development camp reports on the blog.
Key items on the schedule to discuss:
- At Yale! (Cool building. I highly recommend a visit if you can.)
- Jan 5 exhibition. Dumb.
The 12/29 Yale game and 1/5 Simon Fraser exhibition are the only games scheduled during the WJCs when BU is likely to be without Lane Hutson, Devin Kaplan, Macklin Celebrini and Tom Willander. Good planning.
Oct. 14 U18 exhibition: A Hutson hat trick--Lane & Quinn vs. Cole.
Then why allow your top players to play in the WJCs where they might be injured? It happened to Patrick Harper.Yep, I understand the challenges of playing games around World Juniors (BC if off for a month) However, why even play an exhibition game? Imagine if someone got hurt playing this game? *Rage!*
As to the exhibitions - I agree the coaches must find some value to them or they wouldn’t happen.
I enjoy the Canadian teams as the opening of the season - not quite as much over the winter break. The U18 game I’ve never been a big fan of.
Presumably the U18 game is good for recruiting.
This is a huge reason they continue the game. I also think it's a great opportunity for our guys to play an exhibition against a highly skilled squad. The U18s are better than a lot of collegiate competition and certainly better than the Canadian schools. There's a lot of benefit to playing that game each year.
