Is BU the only school that hasn't released a schedule yet??? I feel like we know more than half of it based on schedules of teams we're playing and not anything from the athletic department.

Looking at the Bruins schedule: Saturday Nov 25 at New York Rangers. But isn’t that when Red Hot Hockey is supposed to be?

Is RHH not happening? Or - could they somehow do it as a doubleheader (Matinee game then separate ticket evening game)?

If so, that could be a cool two-fer for Boston hockey fans.

There have been doubleheaders on the Saturday after T'giving before. I recall entering the Garden for a RHH game and seeing Rangers players departing.

I guess that makes sense… the gap is probably enough time to clear out the arena and give it a quick cleanup. I may have to consider hitting up both games - could be a pretty cool day if hockey.

I maaaaaay have followed Henrik Lundquist to the exit that year....

Would totally do a Rangers/Bruins game before RHH.

I posted these on the blog.
A few more 2023-24 schedule dates have become available: 10/7 @ Bentley, 10/13 @ UNH, 10/27 vs. UMass, 10/28 @ UMass, 11/3 vs. N.Dakota, 11/4 vs. N.Dakota, 11/10 @ Lowell, 11/11 vs. Lowell, 1/13 vs. UNH and 2/2 @ UNH. An in-progress Division 1 schedule grid is here

John Lilley works for the Rangers??? Who knew??? One John Lilley memory was a game up Snively, BU was winning, Lilley takes a five minute major and UNH scored four power play goals and BU loses something like 7-4. Anyone else remember that game?

In his media availability, Willander explained that after BU contacted him, “I quickly understood that BU was a really good school, so I wasn’t interested in going to other places.”

The Athletic reports that Pereira saw him play in the Four Nations in November when scouting another player.:
"The pitch from BU was simple: Come play in a big hockey market at one of the top men’s hockey programs in the country with a track record of attracting NHL talent (Jack Eichel, Charlie McAvoy, Matt Grzelcyk), under coach Jay Pandolfo, a two-time Stanley Cup champion as a player with five years of NHL coaching experience under his belt."

More on the blog.
