BU 23-24 Post-Season and Off-Season: Jacks and Coles

The winner of this game goes to the championship game IMO. I'm not convinced Denver's defense will be able to handle much sustained pressure from either of these teams given how they looked in the Springfield regional games at times

You know, now I'm actually annoyed that Denver denied us the Cornell-BU FF match-up that everyone wanted. I would've bought round-trip flight tickets to MSP immediately

Not sure I would 'want' that but a 'revenge tour' going through Minnesota, Cornell, and then BC would be something fun if it had come to pass. I'll settle for two out of three though.

Congrats. BU really just looked like a superior team today.

Maybe so in the end, but it was so uncomfortable watching us I our own zone when Minnesota set up. Maybe it felt the same way on the other side too. Caron was outstanding again. Close gave up 2 that squeaked under his pads and in - one for the first goal to Quinn Hutson on a nothing shot, and the other to Lane. That was one of the big differences in the game. Macklin Celebrini was huge - he looked like a man on a mission! Lachance was great, so was Stevens and Tuch was a constant. I can’t believe we won that game after giving up the first 2. I had my head in a pillow when the Quinn Hutson goal went in.

First off, congratulations to BU & fans. Both teams played hard, and I thought you paid the price blocking shots in the end to earn the victory. I think we'd love to have those 2 softies back, but that's the way it goes. As someone watching the game from an opponent's lens, Celebrini was impactful almost every shift he was out there. I think I was more impressed with his work in the corners and having a good stick and disrupting breakouts than I was with his rush play which is saying something because he's dynamite on the rush too. Good luck the rest of the way.
