That's mighty generous of you, Nick!

It was good to see Bellows finally on the score sheet. Did anyone spend the money to stream either game? Keller's SHG in Friday's game was insane. I didn't notice his speed to that extent in the previous three games.

I streamed the second game.

The highlights for the games are free, which has Keller's SHG. Outworked and then outsped the defenseman. Rogie has a link to it in the blog.

Wow, I wanted buy a ticket for the 1/13/17 game and they're already scooped up by the scalpers and selling them for double or more on ticketmaster ((

Quinn was quoted this afternoon saying Jake is starting tomorrow night. Agreed that it would've seemed more likely Connor started tomorrow and Jake Saturday. Tough to see Quinn throwing Connor in for his first start on Saturday against QU.

That was exactly my thinking. Either Coach is very sold on Oettinger or Lacovee is in the doghouse. Certainly no reason I know off to think the latter.

It seems he thinks both are good goalies, but that Oettinger is the real deal.

Oettinger is really only 3 games into college hockey. Perhaps coach wants to get him more experience quicker, especially with a strong QU team looming on Saturday..

You still need to throw Lacouvee in every once in a while so he is not rusty when/if we need him. Thought tonight was a perfect time.

Here is my theory. Atlantic Hockey has done very well against HE this year. The last thing Quinn wants is his players thinking that this game is going to be easy. If he puts in the back-up goalie, it sends the wrong message bout the effort it is going to take to beat SHU.

Dipietro split time with Jason Tapp (I believe) for the first half of the season. Kind of hard to believe in looking back on it (No offense to Tapp who certainly went on to good things, but at that time, he was at best a serviceable back-up). I guess Quinn is seeing a big enough difference already and doesn't want to get Lacouvee time until the team gets some more positive momentum.
