BU 2015 Offseason Thread-To quote The Clash - Should he stay or should he go?

Not sure how ncaa has not barked yet. Tiger Woods gets in hot water for having Arnold Palmer pay $24.00 for a lunch, which Tiger offered to pay. But college kids can go to Stanley Cup on and on. Very strange, which would lead me to believe zero chance coming back. Ok for MJ guys but Zd 1 guys? Weird.

Gaudreau and Arnold got to go to a Flames game for free while still retaining eligibility and returning to BC. I'm sure Eichel and Hanifin have not lost eligibility on this "PR tour".

Re: BU 2015 Offseason Thread-To quote The Clash - Should he stay or should he go?

Actually they paid for their tickets. No chance you can accept free tickets

Re: BU 2015 Offseason Thread-To quote The Clash - Should he stay or should he go?

In ten million years ncaa would not support a pr tour for pro hockey
Think Tiger Woods and dozens of others
Heard they are going to put hammer down this summer on kids going to development camps etc
They are required to pay team for expenses, if they don't, wam
Better have receipts

Is Hanafin not coming back also?

A few of the dates that haven’t been announced elsewhere are still subject to change, so they're now deleted from the list.

Ahh, the dreaded (at least for those of us with kids of trick or treat age) Halloween game... And it's the Denver game! Argh!

That picture of AJ Greer on the bike on the home page is awesome.

Re: BU 2015 Offseason Thread-To quote The Clash - Should he stay or should he go?

Former BU captain and Bruins head coach Mike Sullivan succeeds new Devils coach John Hynes as head coach of the AHL Wilkes Barre/Scranton Penguins. Sullivan was one of three BU guys in the Blackhawks front office along with Mike Grier and Ron Anderson.

BU Men's Hockey retweeted WBS Penguins
After helping Chicago win the Stanley Cup as a development coach, Sully is a head coach once again. #ProudtoBU

Re: BU 2015 Offseason Thread-To quote The Clash - Should he stay or should he go?

And, Fortunato, MacLeod, Greenway, McAvoy, and Eichel were invited to the WJC evaluation camp.

Keller? I know not too many get invited that young, but of course Eichel did. And Miles Wood, right?

Am I missing Greenway? I was told by good source he wasn't getting an invite

Woods was already 20 when he played in the last WJC. He was drafted by the Islanders in 2013 and will be a 21 year old freshman. Keller turns 17 this summer and while not on the evaluation camp roster, could get an invitation to the December camp if his fall play warrants it.

Chad Krys, who remains a BU recruiting target, also is on the evaluation camp roster. He and McAvoy comprised the U18s top defensive pairing during the World U18 Championships.

Jack Eichel was nominated for an ESPY!! That's pretty cool.
