Saakatoon Goon! Someone sick Brian Gibbons on him.

Seriously... Not all that bad of a hit. Elbow in, stayed low... Unfortunate. S happens.

Reasoner hit someone? Too bad he didn't seriously injure matt cooke.

Re: BU 2013 Offseason Thread - Bring on the Mighty Quinn

how come no one's talking about Shattenkirk wisely taking a double minor in OT knowing full well Quick would crap his pants behind the net while on the PP.

Not a good game for Reasoner after 10 straight healthy scratches or something like that. I really didn't think this "leg check" was all that bad either to be honest. Do we expect a defender to just wave a stick and skate by someone that cuts to the inside to avoid contact? Overreaction there I thought.

Gryba's hit was clean. Maybe you could say he targeted a defenseless player which I think IS a way to avoid guys leaving on stretchers but right now that's not against the rules. Looks like his shoulder caught the guy in the head. Overreaction.

Ference. Pretty blatant elbow. Not a dirty player as we all know but a pretty blatant shot to the head. But no penalty was called and he got only a 1 game suspension (I kind of expected worse but he has a decent history and it is the playoffs). Underreaction on this one IMO.

Do any of the incoming freshmen step in and contrubute on offense in the fall?

With Nieto gone, a lot will fall on O'Regan, Rodrigues, Hohman, Kurker and Gill. Did I miss anyone with offensive potential ?

Marty kinda kicked jokki skate on skate. Refs called kneeing- black and white stripes blur vision no matter the league :)

To help iCarly follow along, could you add birthyears to each name going forward?

Thanks :D

---- I would add bu needs there dmen to contribute offense. Historically we have so it is expected that Grzelyk & Goonan get at least double digit goals.
Hoping Matt lane continues his play from the 2nd half too and makes a jump.

It seems that the expectations are highest for Ballaigerion (his name is going to be misspelled as often as Grzelcyk - pretty sure I don't have it right) and newcomer Roberto. Then perhaps Privitera the sequel and that dude that went to the Jr. Bruins mid-season.

You are right that we'll need Rodrigues and O'Regan to carry the load. Hopefully, the others continue to improve. I think Gill has topped out, but Kurker should certainly step up given the typical transition time for guys straight from high school (and with size).

I'm pretty confident in the "O from D" situation with G Love and Special Sauce, G spot, and Alexxxxx all having above average skills. If Oksanen looks like he did in the first half last year, he could lead tghe D ini goals with blasts on the PP.

You are right that we'll need E-Rod and #DannyHockey to carry the load. Hopefully, the others continue to improve. I think #Gilling has topped out, but Kurky should certainly step up given the typical transition time for guys straight from high school (and with size).

In the spirit of your second post I have fixed your first post.

When Cisse was gone, I think Kurker got valuable playing time and it should help him adjust next year, and step up a notch, but time will tell. His size is a plus if he knows how to use it to his advantage next year.
