Last night against U Mass was a great example of the Eagles marching toward a national championship!

Easy, chief. At least BC competed for their coach. And they're 8-2...

Maybe you guys will actually win at Fenway this year too. Oh yeah and remind me how many BP championships you have. What's the all-time BU-BC series record (BU-125 BC 112)? Should I keep going. I'll give you credit though, it does take balls to post on our thread after losing to a team we beat. Enjoy the success while it lasts, maybe you can even catch us in the all-time series record before the pendulum swings back our way (though you'd have to beat us every time you faced us for like 4 years).

You do realize that BC lost to BU at Fenway and went on to win the national title, right? What's your point? And your reaction to BU getting embarrassed by UML and now sitting at .500 is to point out how many Beanpots you've won and how you lead the all time series against BC? Don't you have bigger issues to worry about with your team right now?

I think they'll be fine this week against Merrimack and BC because they're tough teams. They play to the level of their opponents big time.

Just curious, but what are you basing this off and what would be your prediction for next weekend?

BU was 0-for-6 on the powerplay against Lowell. With one - ONE - shot on goal.

Now there is absolutely no excuse for that!

How many passes were made on those six powerplays?
How many shots were past up?
Particularly by the points???

ONE shot on goal in SIX powerplays!!!

The powerplay used to be based on the points getting the puck on goal and forwards crashing the net for tip-ins, deflections and rebounds!
Shoot from the point!
You can't score if you don't shoot. They are not doing the simple things, even, and it doesn't get any simplier than that!

Denver. UNH. Response to UMass's early lead last Saturday. The win-loss pattern. The last three years the way they play against "good" teams vs. "bad" teams. Their faces last night. Personal intuition.

I do realize that they won that year, I don't believe I denied that. I have no point really. Just presenting stats that say as of right now BU has historically won more national titles, beanpots and head-to-head games than BC. I was not reacting to the UML loss, I was reacting to annoying BC fans. I definitely said nothing about BC reaching the national title game in '98 because I was 11 and I didn't care. Also *** does that have to do with anything? I don't really care if random anonymous people don't like me. I come here to read about my hockey team and you annoying people are ruining my enjoyment of being a fan. Go find something better to do. There is a reason BU fans don't hate UNH or Maine. How many of them do you see posting comments on other teams threads trying to instigate? I don't hate BC as a program or even its players. I hate their fans because they are terrible people.

Are you new to town or hockey?Dont over estimate the Denver win they literally hung on for dear life after Denver came out flat on a back to back. This is a horrible team this isnt a fluke, the poster boy for this team is the lazy overrated #3 . Parkers demise is coming soon now that the pink hat BU fans are finally waking up and the Parker worshipers are finally are admitting that the drunk lost his fastball 10 years ago.

JD dont fight with these nimrod fanboys you are better the that. There is no more argument going on here, most knowledgeable BU fans waved the white flag 5 years ago in the BU vs BC battle. Loyalists like Scarlet and Mookie just go to the games for social purposes now, they gave up on the hockey aspects years ago. You got guys on here saying BU and BC sports are on the same level, bringing up BC's criminal history with their athletes, and reveling in BC's only 2nd loss all year, they got nothing left but spitballs now against BC's machine guns. BU went 0-4 vs BC last year and I expect and 0-3 this year, its over and done with this isnt a rivalry anymore. BC's only rivals dont reside in the Northeast anymore.

Is it really necessary to hurl personal insults? If you want to criticize the team, it's performance, the coaching and otherwise that is fine but keep it within the bounds of decency.

This probably is not the best time for BU fans to argue, and win the argument, with BC fans. Then again, this is our thread.

UNH was the worst team in college hockey the first few games. Looks like they've rebounded since then. BU did look ok against Denver for 40 minutes, but I just haven't seen any consistency to lead me to believe that they'll get results against the two best teams in HE. Who knows though, maybe losing 7-1 is the true slap in the face they all need. What would you predict for results?

I could have stopped after you said "I have no point really", but you don't need to present any stats here. Everyone already knows the historical numbers. I just fail to see how it's relevant to all of this. Who is disputing historical numbers?

You said "enjoy it while it lasts" as if BCs success has been limited to a short period of time now. Are you sure you were 11 in '98? You sound like a scorned 11 year old right now...
