BSU '10-'11: Can the Beav's Read the W and be in the Hunt?

Re: BSU '10-'11: Can the Beav's Read the W and be in the Hunt?

Off topic, but I would like to publicly thank the BSU Administration for helping me make another couple of BSU Alum's Christmas. They went out of their way to find a Bucky Beaver Bubblehead :-) (not availible for sale). My uncle (Class of 84') and my aunt (Class of 85') will be totally happy this Christmas.

Re: BSU '10-'11: Can the Beav's Read the W and be in the Hunt?

Matt allowed 1 and Phoenix scored 1 while he was in (32:24 of work - 15 saves on 16 shots after LaBarbara went 17 for 22). The 'Yotes are at San Jose on Thursday. It'll be interesting to see if Climie has earned a start.

According to the PHX-SJ game preview on the PHX website, it looks like Matt will be the backup again tonight as Jason LaBarbera is tabbed the starter in the preview......

Enjoy!

And the Mariucci Classic is a Tourney. They changed the format after BSU was admitted to the WCHA since the Gophers didn't want to play an OOC vs. a conference foe. It will return to a winners vs. winners and losers vs. losers format next year.

Andrew Murray had a goal last night in Columbus' 4-3 shoot out victory over the Wild. The goal was a nice wrap around stuffer as Jose Theodore for the Wild didn't hold the post. The goal gave the Bluejackets a 3-2 lead.

Andrew threw his weight around nicely and looked very good out there. Too bad he has been a healthy scratch a lot lately......

Did you watch the quoted video? Bah-mee-gee is pretty annoying to hear from a CCHA radio announcer when BSU was in the Frozen Four a year and a half ago...

Sure did... One of the first things I learned in journalism school is if you don't know how to say it, ask someone. It'd be like us saying Salt St. Marie.

Re: BSU '10-'11: Can the Beav's Read the W and be in the Hunt?

Matt Dalton recalled from Reading (ECHL) to Providence (AHL) by the Bruins today.

Re: BSU '10-'11: Can the Beav's Read the W and be in the Hunt?

Welcome forward Danny Mattson to BSU. Former UND recruit, but didn't earn his way to Grand Forks. He will hopefully play with a chip on his shoulder and with something to prove in Bemidji. Link to Heisenberg's site - look to Dec 30 commitments.

More Mattson: link 1 link 2

Matt Climie was called back up to Phoenix last night. He was the backup in Phoenix's game with Colorado.

Hopefully Matt will see some more ice time this time with the club.
