Brown @ RPI-March 15, 16 and 17th If Necessary

Re: Brown @ RPI-March 15, 16 and 17th If Necessary

Continuing this over here because I REALLY don't want to threadjack the pick'em thread...

Perhaps every fan base is guilty of this, but I seem to recall you calling for Curadi's head after he knocked down a few players. To deny that injuries happen in a game like this is just plain folly, but when you go after our leading scorer, you should expect some backlash. Call it taking the example of Lindy Ruff if you will (just look up buffalo ottawa brawl on Youtube), but there's some players you just don't go after.
. Like RPI never crushed Andrew Miller in the two games this year, your statement is a little over the top. He is probably the smallest star forward in the league and gets creamed on a regular basis.

FlagDude, you have been out of college for how many years? Grow up and stop name calling other fans and starting "thread wars" with them. You have a huge passion for RPI hockey and that is great. But at some point you just gotta realize that enough is enough when it comes to arguing with people on a message board. I hate to come down on you like this because you do have some good points at times, but grow up and let stuff roll off your shoulders and not feel the need to get the final word or resort to low-class posts.

If you don't like what I type, put me on ignore.

Imagine that every person who posts on USCHO forum did that! You know that's what drove Hokydad away, everyone studiously ignoring every comment he made until he left out of boredom. Is that really what you want for yourself as well?

You're not an adolescent any more and we're not your parents. It's time you became decently socialized.

I made the offer. Heck, in a different post, I even explained how to do it. I really don't give three ****s if you do or not. Life is not a popularity contest.

No wonder you spend so much time on the board, with this kind of attitude I imagine you have a sparse social life.

The sad thing for you is people are genuinely trying to be helpful toward you.

And yet, the previous comment in white...

You don't think you'd benefit personally from maturity?? When I teach my children how to avoid problems I suffered through myself, I find a sort of inner healing follows, as if I had become to myself the parent I wish I had had.

There is nothing hostile in asking you to reflect.

There is something hostile is saying you're not my parent, yet trying to act like it. If you have an issue with what I type, put me on ignore, and it would make the both of us that much more happy.

The ignore function is a wonderful thing.

It is, until someone who I don't have on ignore replies and quotes the ignored person. If only there was a way to get vBulletin to completely hide text of someone on ignore...
