Brown @ RPI-March 15, 16 and 17th If Necessary

Re: Brown @ RPI-March 15, 16 and 17th If Necessary

Right to the point. Stop their best line from beating us. Stand up to the physical play. Find a way to score like we have in the past 10 games against a very solid goaltender. Getting the lead is extremely important as brown has not show that they can score a lot all season. All the makings of a close couple games (perhaps a little OT??)
Speed kills...keep feet and pucks moving and good things will happen

Just wanted to let everyone know about the Bailen situation. He took a knee to knee hit and limped off the ice. He came out to start the third period and tried to give it a go, but you could obviously see that he couldn't put any weight on his right leg at all and skated off to the bench and did not return. It didn't look good. Lets hope he can give it a go tomorrow...
Let's go RED!!!

Thanks for the info-does not sound good. Even if there is no structural damage (ligaments, etc) a severe contusion of the knee just does not swell and manifest itself immediately. I would imagine he is packed in ice, elevated and compressed. If he goes tomorrow it would be a major unexpected and wonderful development. But it would be unlikely. It is not only just being short a defenseman(we only have 5 healthy guys), it is being short our most potent offensive threat. Truly hoping SA just sat him out the third period as a precaution-does anyone know if he remained on the bench for the third-or went into the locker room for the remainder? Hopefully tonight was not a Pyrrhic victory for us. We will need everyone healthy and angry for tomorrow. Go Red!!

Looked like he was having it stretched by the trainer while laying on the floor in the tunnel. Thought I saw him walking in the tunnel in shorts later on in the 3rd , but cant say 100% if it was him . Looked like him tho. But I'm in sec 7.

Glad you liked. I had to push the envelope a bit. Granted, some may think I went for the entire post office, but I don't really care.

Yes on both counts, and don't forget about a little contact :D ... despite all the music/pump up ideas floating around, this isn't ballroom dancing. ;)

Re: Brown @ RPI-March 15, 16 and 17th If Necessary

Any chance of tonight's game being available online? I can't make it over to Troy, but would love to not have to rely on my CHN app to update me.

Certainly took enough shots and limited their chances-but in a one game winner take all game-it can just go like this. You can get out scored without getting out played. Good season boys. Looking forward to adding a new crop of freshmen next year and moving up further.

Clutch and grab all night and NONE OF IT was called...

I hope that thug Robertson meet sup with his own kind in Atlantic City...
And the rest of the team get spractice with their diving in the Atlantic Ocean...
Either that, or Whittet's whining should create a good enough pool of tears...
