Re: Brown - Oops! They did it again.

Uh do I have to really point out that there are barely any scholarship schools in the ECAC, so how do these points explain why Brown only had one league win?

Brown actually had more wins against scholarships schools than non-scholarship schools.

Hmmmmmmm, 10 teams in the league, and five are scholarship schools. Yeah, hardly any.

Re: Brown - Oops! They did it again.

I will make whoopie pies for the asking, if the Latvians outlast this thread.

Looks like the Latvians are going to go to overtime, so I'd say it is a good chance. Great game! Lousy thread.
As long as the whoopie pies aren't lousy, I hope Latvia wins the Gold! because this *** thread is definitely going to last through Sunday! Probably last all through the summer into next year!

Re: Brown - Oops! They did it again.

So if someone chooses to go to Brown to play d-1 hockey, they're wrong.

And if someone chooses to go to Brown because it is an Ivy League school, they're wrong.

I'd hate to be a player and have you here to critique my decision.

So? You a player?

You so much as told me if I don't have a dog in the fight, shut up, so what's your connection?

Re: Brown - Oops! They did it again.

Look ya dope, the scholarship players went to the Hockey East schools, most of whom didn't offer scholarships when Digit was winning season after season after season!

Exactly, it's not like these kids are passing up Brown to go to other ECAC schools. Why does Brown have the worst record in the league now?

Now ya done it! The Czechs won. And this thread is still alive....

Re: Brown - Oops! They did it again.

Great game, but.... ****, no whoopie pies!

Good night, have fun rehashing the same ol' crap. Can't wait to read it all in the morning, though I doubt I'll read absolutely ANYTHING diffferent!

I think it was cookie who said her daughter would be at Harvard, but wasn't quite Harvard material. Doesn't that tell you something?

Wow Hux, your math skills are seriously lacking. There are actually 12 teams in the ECAC, 5 of which are scholarship schools.

Can I sell you a dozen whoopie pies and keep two for myself then?

Random quote.

Don't want to wake up to this thread.

I just don't want cookie to get the last word in...

The mods can come and put this out of our misery now...

However to get the last word in...

Despite the best efforts of those on the inside who seek to subvert a fine program, the Brown Womens hockey team will soldier on with Digit bringing in a very promising class for next season. Best of luck to the ladies.
