Brown Hockey 2011-2012 - The Future Is Now

Re: Brown Hockey 2011-2012 - The Future Is Now

But don't think this cuts anyone from Brown any slack this weekend! From now until the series is over you are the enemy. :p

The gloves are off!! I am hoping the House of Horrors that Q's rink has been the last few years, and especially last year's first round wipeout, can end this weekend. Looking to the Brown seniors to show what they are capable of with Brown taking the series 2-1.

Is anyone planning on making the trip to Hamden?

I am heading there as well. I don't really know what to think... statistics would indicate that at some point Brown would beat this team, but it doesn't seem like a good matchup. Peca had a great game last weekend against Brown, and guys like Glaicar and Zurevinski seem to play their best against Brown. Will be interested to see if Langlois and Maclellan are both back. Either way, if Brown's defense plays inconsistent hockey, it could be a rough weekend for the Bears.

As to Robertson making All-Ivy, he does play about 50 minutes a game, especially with Wahl out.

We've got a Brown contingent of five planning on a trek to Q Mountain for Saturday nite's game, hopefully to watch the Bears either tie or win the First Round series, depending upon Friday's outcome.

Less than 2 hours to get your picks in for round one of the ECAC PICK THE PLAYOFFS

Re: Brown Hockey 2011-2012 - The Future Is Now

I think it's pretty simple: if we play like we did Friday, we can win. If we let QU walk all over us like last night, we can't.

Something tells me we're not going to just roll over again. I can't say we'll outplay QU, because they looked pretty fantastic last night, but I think we'll at least go out (if we don't win, which is not unlikely) playing our hearts out.
