Just read that Sinn Fein won north and south Belfast. First time ever taking Belfast South. Going back to 1885.

Edit: actually I think SF took north and SDLP took south.

As someone who knows the NHS inside out and backwards, I can promise you all these Tory voters will be horrified if Boris tries to privatize it.

Brits are like us on both sides of the spectrum. I mean, they’d sit there and talk about how they’re better than Americans, then go through McDonald’s drive through, binge drink 14 beers while chain smoking, and then I’d wake up to smashed glass bottles all over the street every Saturday morning. Thr was part of reason that the highly educated brits I worked with all moved out of the UK

Yes. Boris is smart, the smeghead routine is a bit. But he's rabidly ambitious and a quintessence of evil and he's used the full stable of populist xenophobic horses to ride to power.

Boris leads an impotent, exhausted island but his danger derives from his cunning. A sociopath with a tea cup.

So true, they're like Wisconsinites with their drinking - New Years' every fcking weekend.
